Today on National Wattle Day, we celebrate a symbol of resilience, unity and hope that is deeply woven into the Australian spirit.
As the golden wattle blooms across our country, we are also thinking of those closer to home and abroad who are facing difficult times. Our hearts are with members of our extended Beauaraba team and community who have family, friends and personal connections to the devastating floods in Nepal and Tibet.
In moments like these, we are reminded that while we may be separated by distance, compassion knows no borders. We stand with those affected, keeping them in our thoughts and hoping for safety, strength and recovery for all communities impacted.

🔨 Practice Update – Renovations & Transition Period 🔨
As we begin an exciting new chapter at Beauaraba Medical Centre, our practice will be closed for renovations for the next two weeks while we complete some much-needed updates and prepare for Dr Jim’s arrival.
During this time, our team will still be available by phone and are more than happy to take your calls, assist with enquiries and book upcoming appointments. 📞
We will also be offering limited appointments during the transition period, so we ask for your patience and understanding while our team settles into our updated practice, new systems and supports Dr Jim as he gets to know our patients and the Beauaraba community.
These next couple of weeks are all about making sure we can provide a smooth transition for everyone — our patients, our staff and, of course, Dr Jim!
We’re very excited about what’s ahead and can’t wait to welcome you back into our refreshed Beauaraba Medical Centre very soon. 💙
