Get ready for the Blue Full Moon on May 31st.
This moon is the culmination of the May healing portal.
We have two full moons this month, and have been supported by the Water element as we have been birthing a new paradigm.
Emotions have been closer to the surface as we have been detoxing ourselves of old patterns and limiting beliefs.
On the Blue Moon we will be able to see more clearly as we step into our new beginnings.
This important moon deserves space to allow time to show up and bathe in the magic.
Try a full moon ritual and give thanks for all that you are and will be
Suggestions for a full moon ritual:
Gather friends, drink Cacao, meditate, journal, dance in the moonlight.
Cleanse crystals and leave in full moon to charge
Leave a bowl of water in full moon to charge and water plants with water throughout the month.
Try a yin yoga practice and annoying healing oils. Finish in savasana surrounded by healing crystals

May is an extraordinary month, featuring two full moons, and carries a sense of intensity as a result.
This is a powerful month to transform long held fears and emotional baggage into strengths
Aligning with Beltane on May 1st, we are encouraged to connect to joy and pleasure, creating a nurturing space for well being and invincibility that supports our journey of emotional healing.
This month is as about progress as we confront aspects of ourselves that have been long suppressed. By connecting with playful, fun loving energy and embracing movement in various directions that resonates with our spiritual journey, we gain the strength to implement necessary changes. Nothing can deter us as long as we continue to forge ahead and transcend our limits.
NURTURE THE WATER ELEMENT in your yoga practice.
When we practice Yoga this lunar month, move with softness and ease, aiming for adaptability and releasing tension to cultivate natural flow.
Focus on the hips and pelvis and the Svadistani chakra, as this area is believed to hold emotional liquidity.

The Importance of pranayama in your yoga practice
Pranayama, or breathing exercises, are vital for achieving relaxation and are, unfortunately, often overlooked in yoga classes
In many yoga sessions, the emphasis is placed on Asana, the physical postures. However without an understanding of the significance of pranayama, the practice may become just another form of exercise, missing the deeper benefits of yoga.
By dedicating time to learn and practice these breathing techniques you can elevate your yoga experience from merely functional to truly transformational, fostering both mental clarity and physical wellbeing.
Here are a few pranayama techniques to try:
Nadi Shoshana / alternate nostril breathing
Sit comfortably with your spine straight. Use your right thumb to close the right nostril. Inhale deeply through your left nostril, then close it with your ring finger.
Release your right nostril and exhale through it. Inhale through the right nostril, close it, and exhale through the left. This completes one cycle. Repeat 5-10 times.
This technique helps balance the mind and clear energy channels.
Bhramari / Bee breath
Sit in a quiet place with your eyes closed. Inhale deeply, then as you exhale, make a humming sound like a bee. Focus on the vibration in your head. This exercise can be repeated 5-10 times and is excellent for calming the mind and reducing stress
Ujjay/ ocean breath
Sit comfortably and take a deep breath through the nose. Slightly constrict the back of the throat as you exhale creating a soft ocean-like sound. Continue breathing deeply and rhythmically for several minutes. Ujjayi breath increases oxygenation and builds internal heat.
Incorporating these pranayama exercises into your daily routine can enhance your yoga practice and contribute to a healthier more balanced life
