Port Douglas Physiotherapy has provided quality professional care for the Douglas community since it's establishment in 1998. We currently have two physiotherapists on the team, Sian Grierson and Megan Wright. Sian has been qualified for 30 years and has extensive experience in rehabilitation of most conditions. She covers a broad range of specialties, including the treatment of back, neck, heada
che and TMJ problems and is a qualified Pilates instructor. Sian attained her Polytechnic Associateship in Physiotherapy (BSc equivalent) from Sheffield, England in 1982. She has worked in the UK and in Australia and started Port Douglas Physio 1998. In 2013 Sian expanded and opened Clifton Beach Physio and continues to work in both practices. To complement her extensive experience in rehabilitation and manual skills Sian also has a special interest in vertigo, headaches, TMJ and neck and shoulder pain. Sian's other practice, Clifton Beach Physiotherapy is located in the Clifton Village Shopping Centre in Cairns. Physio. A.P.A.M. Megan Wright attained her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia in 2012 and worked in a private practice outside Adelaide. She comes highly recommended with excellent manual skills, is proficient in post-surgical rehab and is trained in the use of dry needles. Megan has a special interest in women’s health, yoga, remedial massage and is a qualified Pilates Instructor.
