✨ SHINE FROM WITHIN – TERM 4 ✨
A 10-Week Therapeutic Group for Girls Aged 8–10

The years between 8 and 10 can bring some BIG changes.

Friendships start to feel more complicated. Girls can become more aware of what others think, begin comparing themselves to their peers, question their abilities, and experience emotions they don't always know how to manage.

Shine From Within is about giving girls the skills to navigate these years with confidence, resilience and a strong sense of who they are.

Across 10 weeks, we'll use creative activities, games, challenges and therapeutic conversations to explore:

🌸 Friendships & social skills
🌸 Positive self-talk
🌸 Resilience & problem-solving
🌸 Recognising personal strengths
🌸 Celebrating what makes each girl unique

This isn't about teaching girls to be the loudest or most confident person in the room.

One mural complete! 🎨✨

What a transformation!

This wall has gone from plain blue to a vibrant Pilbara landscape, celebrating the incredible wildlife and colours of our region. 🧡

This mural is part of the Creating Outdoor Spaces program at Yaandina’s Turner River Rehabilitation Centre, where every third Thursday I have the privilege of working alongside the residents. Together, we’re creating welcoming, meaningful spaces that foster pride, connection and creativity.

Watching these spaces come to life is about so much more than painting walls—it’s about building confidence, encouraging teamwork, and creating an environment that people feel proud to call their own.

A huge thank you to all of the residents who helped bring this mural to life. I can’t wait to share the next one with you! 💚

She who Carries the Deep

We all carry things that nobody else can see.

Grief.
Heartbreak.
Disappointment.
Self-doubt.
The weight of expectations.
The quiet battles fought behind closed doors.

Sometimes life feels like the ocean—beautiful one moment, wild the next. The currents change without warning, and there are days when it feels easier to stop swimming.

But resilience isn’t about never struggling.

It’s about continuing anyway.

It’s learning to move through uncertainty without losing yourself. It’s finding strength you never knew existed, not because life became easier, but because you became stronger.

This whale carries the deep—not as a burden, but as part of her story.

Every scar, every storm, every challenge has shaped who she is. They have not diminished her; they have made her wiser, gentler and stronger.

If you’re facing something difficult right now, I hope this reminds you that you are capable of carrying more than you realise. Keep going. Keep breathing. Keep trusting that calmer waters are ahead.

The deepest oceans often create the strongest souls.

She Who Carries the Deep has now found her place in the Cossack Art Awards, and no matter where her journey takes her next, I hope she reminds someone that strength doesn’t always roar.

Sometimes it simply keeps swimming.

Little Feelings, Big Emotions is a fun, creative wellbeing program where girls aged 6–8 years learn to:

✨ Grow resilience through play, creativity and connection

Every session is thoughtfully designed by an Art Therapist, Counsellor and Behaviour Specialist to help children feel safe, supported and celebrated.

Does your daughter sometimes doubt herself, worry about friendships or struggle with big emotions?

Shine From Within is a creative wellbeing program for girls aged 8–10 years, designed to help them build confidence, resilience and a strong sense of self through art, mindfulness and meaningful connection.

In a small, supportive group, girls will discover their strengths, develop healthy friendships and learn practical skills to navigate life’s ups and downs—all while having fun and getting creative.
