It's with a very heavy heartbroken heart that I have to announce that on Sept 1st at 4.44pm Cameron Oreo Bishop crossed over the rainbow bridge🥺🌈😻🧡

Cameron is my beautiful sensitive lil soulmate that bought so much joy to my life (hence all the photos😅) I can honestly say I love him more than life and would do anything for him😍

As most of you know Cameron battled diabetes since Jan 2026. As someone said to me 'Welcome to the club that nobody wanted to join' Ain't that the truth!

Unfortunately diabetes got him in the end😭😭
We both fought a God damn good battle and my lil Moo showed how much of a fighter he was till the end. But his body just wouldn't let him do what his mind wanted it to do.

Yesterday was a beautiful day were we spent time together before heading to the vets were everyone was there to say their Goodbyes.
A few of the ladies who cared for him thru out his stays joined us and held hands while we all cried as he crossed over. I was able to bring him home for an hour so his siblings could progress his death and today is a very quiet day for all.

We will ALL miss our lil Man and my handsom lil Moo😁

See you in my dreams and look forward to reuniting on the other side❤️❤️❤️

🐾 Looking for a loving, single-pet home for beautiful Baby 🐾

It is with a very heavy heart that I need to find a new home for my gorgeous girl, Baby. We have given it a red hot crack for two years, but she and my 11-year-old resident cat simply do not get along. For Baby’s happiness and peace of mind, she truly needs to be the only pet in the household.

Baby is a wonderful success story. She started as a 'street cat' but has spent the last 2 years learning how to be a fully comfortable, domestic indoor pet.

About Baby:
• Age: Approx. 5–6 years old
• Health: Desexed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated
• Personality: Very chilled out and independent
• Play style: Happily plays by herself
• Affection: Loves pats, is very sweet, and occasionally loves a good cuddle on the couch.

Baby would be the perfect companion for someone looking for a low-maintenance, relaxed, and loving independent cat.

Another Cameron update😻

This week so far has been successful and very tiring (for me not him lol)

The sensor fell off which kinda freaked me out as that means Blood Glucose Testing (pin prick thru the ear) which Cameron HATES and at the moment after being at the vets.........he just AIN'T having it!!!!!! Vet has been no help and his advice 'You dont need to test him' and doesn't want to put another sensor on for me.🙄😬

Luckily the AMAZING people on the FB Feline Diabetes Support Group have been there to guide me💕 Two of the Moderators (people with ALOT of experience with diabetes) created a group chat with me and have provided sp much information, guidance, support and quite a few laughs.

Still taking it day by day BUT each day he improves💕

Successful insulin shots as he gets his FAVOURITE treat (to keep him occupied) and he now associates insulin time as "Yum Yums"🤣

Cameron Update 😻

Best decision was to bring him home 🏡 🙏

The first 12hrs was up and down and trying to get him to eat was difficult. A teaspoon here....1/2 teaspoon there......turning his nose up🙄
Now I've figured out the combo to get him to eat.

Since lunchtime yesterday his Glucose Levels have been stable....YAY!!! And the vet is happy so far.
We have a sensor attached as this helps alleviate stress for all as I dont need to pin prick test him 4 x daily. I just scan him with my phone lol

Now giving successful insulin injections twice a day AND its not as hard as I thought!! He gets a yummy treat at jab time and he doesn't even notice.

Currently getting up at 12am, 3am then 6am for scanning Glucose, maybe food and insulin injection at 3am.
We'll be moving the injection time slowly each day to get it to 7am/7pm instead of 3am/3pm.
Mummy loves her sleep.

Please can I ask everyone to pray for us😻

I decided to bring him home today as we were at a loss as to what to do. Last night his Ketones were at 2.9 and we needed to be 2 or under to come home. This morning his Ketones went up to 5.1😭

He hadn't eaten for 4 days but I was able to entice him to eat this afternoon which meant I could bring him home. (That's the protocol with diabetes......not eating cant go home) we almost discharged him with IV drips and machines to come home with but him eating elevated that💕
It's still touch and go but I made the decision to bring him home.

I'm praying he'll slowly regulate like last time with the new insulin injections.
