We are long term locals to the area, owning our property in Dunbogan with my wife Bella and our 9 year old IVF twins Sebastian and Venezia. Our twins are 4th generation locals with their grandparents residing in Dunbogan a

nd their 86 year old Great Grandparents residing in North Haven. I completed my medical Degree at Royal North Shore Hospital through The University of Sydney and hold a Bachelor Degree of Medicine and Surgery and also a Bachelor of Medical Science. Aside from my formal medical training, we have travelled the world gaining extensive cultural and medical insights by volunteering at a kibbutz in Israel, teaching in South Korea studying in the UK, France, USA and Japan and trekking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru. I have worked extensively in Emergency Departments around regional NSW including Port Macquarie, Taree, Wauchope and Kempsey. I have also volunteered at the Aeromedical Retrieval Service based at Sydney Mascot Airport and recently volunteered my medical services at our local Iron Man event. My medical interests include all aspects of General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Trauma, Family medicine, Paediatrics/Child Development and Aged Care.

Immensely proud of Sebastian and Venezia’s 2026 NAIDOC Celebration – Connection Through Culture

On Friday, 19 June, students and staff from our local primary schools joined Camden Haven High School to celebrate our 2026 NAIDOC event, sharing connection, culture, learning and community.

Throughout the day, students participated in cultural activities, listened to stories, learnt from one another, and celebrated the rich histories, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It was wonderful to see students building friendships, strengthening community connections, and embracing the spirit of this year’s celebration.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success—our organisers, presenters, staff, volunteers and students. Your enthusiasm and respect created a meaningful experience for all.

Together, we continue to walk forward with respect, understanding and a shared commitment to celebrating and honouring First Nations cultures.
