How do you know if someone is having a stroke?

Think… F.A.S.T.
The Stroke Foundation recommends the F.A.S.T. test as an easy way to remember the most common signs of stroke. Using the F.A.S.T. test involves asking these simple questions:
Face
Check their face. Has their mouth drooped?
Arms
Can they lift both arms?
Speech
Is their speech slurred? Do they understand you?
Time
Is critical. If you see any of these signs, call 000 straight away.

Our Customer Service, NDIS, Logistics and Accounts teams have been working VERY hard lately… so lunch was on us today - courtesy of the legends at Betty’s Burgers in South Melbourne💪 (who absolutely killed this order by the way!!)

Since it’s Friday and we’re feeling like some fun to kick off the weekend vibes, we thought we’d play a little game … we want YOUR guesses in the comments below as to how many burgers you think we had to order … closest answer wins absolutely nothing, other than respect✊

💜Mid Year Wrap Up💜

The first half of 2026 has already come and gone, so we wanted to take this opportunity to quickly reflect on some of the incredible things Rehab Hire & Sales have achieved so far this year 🙏

We’ve had multiple trials for various types of equipment and continue to add numerous new products to our hire/sales lists.

Several new members of staff joined the team 👩‍💻

Rehab Hire & Sales have attended and been Elite Sponsors of Able Plus meets across Melbourne ⭐️

Rehab Hire & Sales completed our submission for the Aids and Appliances tender👌

The United Physiotherapy Community Group joined us for an educational session at our Port Melbourne warehouse.

We honoured & supported International Women’s Day 2026 💕

Rehab Hire & Sales hosted dedicated education sessions in Geelong and Port Melbourne for allied health professionals on choosing the shower commode that will best suit their clients’ needs. The shower commode training sessions were presented by our very own Sharyn Bradford and Freeland Roe, as well as Robert Norman from Paragon Mobility.

Numerous staff birthdays & work anniversaries have been celebrated 🎉

We attended the Casey Community Aged Care Expo which is a free event designed to connect older Australians, their families, carers, and industry professionals looking for new supports and services. Our incredible Sales Manager, Sharyn Bradford and Product Specialist, Kalahan Bradley were both in attendance.

Rehab Hire and Sales were so proud to return for our 6th Run For The Kids fundraiser this year. This run is about community, care and the resources that help children recover, thrive, and enjoy childhood, even when facing serious health challenges. It was an honour to help raise the funds that support the amazing, Royal Children’s Hospital!

Recently some of our incredible team took it upon themselves to undergo the push up challenge to raise awareness and much needed funds to support mental health across Australia.

It’s been a big year so far and we can’t thank our amazing team of staff enough. We are so excited for what the second half of the year holds, as we continue to grow and develop in all aspects of our business ✨
