I have a passion for my work,and believe that to conduct a funeral is a privilege. as is supporting those in grief. I believe a funeral, or Celebration of someones life needs to be conducted in accordance with the deceased persons wishes and also their families. We learn how to carry grief in two ways.
One the world can see.
And one it never does.

To the outside, we show up. We smile. We function. We hold conversations, meet expectations, keep moving. We look “okay.”

And then there is the other life.
The quiet one. The one lived in the spaces between moments in the car, in the shower, in the middle of the night.

Where the ache is loud, the missing is constant, and the weight of love with nowhere to go settles deep.

Both can exist at the same time.
Strength and sorrow.

Presence and pain.
Joy in moments

"If you ever get the chance to love a person who knows grief, do not let them go.
You see, the thing about grief is that it is not exclusive.
It consumes life, it taints everything a little gray.
It won't hesitate to remind you that everyone and everything you love will disappear someday.
But, I found that the people who carry grief, love with a fierceness that no one else knows.
They understand what's at stake because they've had to let someone go.
So they remember the little things and they show up when it counts.
They know that life is rare.
You won't have to spell it out.
So don't take for granted the people who know loss,
for they know more about love because they know what it costs."
