We’re celebrating a very special milestone tomorrow!
~ 10 years of Cam Smith at Portland Funeral Services ~
Over the past decade, Cam has seen so many changes, challenges, highs and lows, both within our business and throughout our wonderful Portland community.
Cam joined the business 10 years ago, and just three months into his role, not even out of his probationary period, he was given the opportunity to step into the position of Manager.
What followed has been an incredible 10 years of hard work, dedication and commitment.
Cam has led our team through some extraordinary times, including the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and the many changes experienced by our community and our industry. Throughout it all, he has continued to support families through some of the most difficult moments of their lives, while helping to shape and grow Portland Funeral Services into the business and team we are today.
Along the way, Cam has helped build a strong and caring team, developed wonderful relationships throughout our community and, most importantly, remained committed to ensuring every family we care for receives compassion, respect and support.
Cam would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the Portland and surrounding communities for their incredible support over the past 10 years.
Thank you for trusting us, for your kind words, for recommending us to friends and family, and for continuing to support our local business. It truly means more than we can put into words.
Cam would also like to express his heartfelt gratitude to Portland Funeral Services for giving him the opportunity 10 years ago and for the support he has received throughout his journey.
A special thank you also goes to his wonderful colleagues, both past and present, and to the many local businesses and organisations we work closely with. The relationships we have built within our community are incredibly important to us.
Funeral directing can be an incredibly emotional and demanding profession. We have the privilege of being welcomed into people's lives during some of their hardest days, and we never take that responsibility lightly. Having such a supportive and caring community around us makes all the difference.
