💜 Celebrating International Women’s Day at Marketplace Raymond Terrace! 💜
Today, we’re celebrating Michelle, Owner/Operator of Nextra Raymond Terrace - a woman whose kindness, strength and authenticity make our community brighter every day.
Michelle draws inspiration from her best friend Kath, a woman who reminds her to “keep smiling your beautiful smile and spreading your kindness.” It’s advice she carries with her and reflects in the way she treats others.
One of Michelle’s favourite parts of her role is connecting with customers and being part of a community she truly cares about. She admires women who are confident and unapologetically themselves.
Michelle uplifts women around her through simple acts of kindness, always ready to help others. She also cooks for Community Services, giving back in ways that quietly but powerfully make a difference.
What makes her feel strong? Waking up every day, facing the world for herself, and standing tall against the many pressures women navigate in their everyday roles.
Outside of work, Michelle finds joy in gardening, nature, and catching up with friends, and if you know her, you’ll know she’s also got a great sense of humour!
