Flash back to this special moment last year. It's one of the most meaningful moments in my whole Anamalz journey.
September 2025, while I was in Vietnam, I shared a post about an email I received from a lovely grandfather named Tom. He was looking for our Anamalz Tiger to continue a special family tradition he'd created with his grandkids — "Tiger Toast mornings."
Unfortunately, the Tiger wasn't in production at the time, and the news broke a few little hearts.
The thought of missed traditions (and disappointed grandkids!) made my heart ache too. So I shared the story with our factory, and together we hand-crafted a brand-new Tiger just for Tom and his family.
When I found out Tom lived in Melbourne, I knew I had to meet him. So a month later (October 2025), I had the joy of personally delivering his Tiger — and what a remarkable man he is. Not only a devoted grandfather, but also the man who took the reins of from his father and built it into a global success, grounded in strength, love, and integrity.
Over coffee, Tom spoke about love and forgiveness, about kindness before success, and about still seeing the 16-year-old boy in the mirror — his inner child. I realised we share so many values, especially around kindness, connection, and holding on to that spark inside that keeps us young.
I've always believed Anamalz aren't just for kids — they're for everyone. A little reminder to keep that childlike joy alive inside us.
When I shared Tom's story with our factory team, they were deeply moved too. One of them wrote: "I was inspired by how Tom lives with love and forgiveness as his driving force. I strongly resonated with his belief that the true mission is to be of service to others, and that the role of a leader is to set the direction so people can begin to walk on their own feet. I felt he is a truly admirable person, with a smile that reflects wisdom beyond everything."
Moments like this make me feel so blessed to do what I do — and remind me just how much I love it.
Kindness. Connection. And the inner child in all of us. 💛
