Mt. View Doctors

They’re the voices on the phone, the smiles at the front desk and the ladies helping with bookings, forms and directions, usually with a joke or a giggle along the way.

These two bring plenty of laughter to the day while making patients feel welcome and looked after. There’s always a smile, even when the phones and the front desk are keeping them busy.

Next time you’re at Mt View, say hello. They keep the rest of us organised, which deserves a round of applause in itself! 😊

Men’s health check: the job that keeps slipping below everything else.💙

The mower got a service. The tyres got checked. Your own check-up is still sitting under “one day”. Sound about right? 😅

Mt View Doctors offers men’s health and general check-ups, including heart and lung health, prostate concerns and cholesterol. Nothing dramatic needs to happen first.

Bring the questions you actually have, even if the list is messy. If there is more than one thing to cover, ask reception about a longer appointment.

In October, we wear pink 💗

Pink shirts, pink scrubs and a pink suit. Our Mt View team dressed up for breast cancer awareness.

It’s a simple way to start an important conversation, and to show our support for everyone affected by breast cancer, including their families and loved ones.

Get to know what’s normal for your breasts. If you notice a new lump, a change in shape, skin dimpling or a ni**le change, speak to your GP promptly. Don’t wait for your next routine breast screen.👩‍⚕️

“I’m fine, just tired” can carry a lot of weight.

Poor sleep. A shorter fuse. Losing interest in things you normally enjoy. Feeling unlike yourself and hoping next week will be better.

World Mental Health Day was on Saturday, but this gentle reminder matters every day: you can talk to your GP before you have the perfect words. Start with what has changed and how it is affecting everyday life. We can take it from there. 💙

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call triple zero (000).

Flights booked. Leave approved. Passport found after only one small panic. ✈️

Now for the part that is much easier to sort before the bags are packed: travel health.

Mt View Doctors offers travel medicine, including advice and vaccinations based on where you are going, what you will be doing and your own health history. Some vaccinations need time before departure, so this is one job worth moving up the list.

Bring your itinerary and any vaccination records you can find. Call reception first to check appointment timing, current vaccine availability and possible costs.

That spot you keep checking in every mirror? It is probably not going to explain itself. 🌞

Queensland gives us plenty of sun and plenty of spots to keep an eye on. If one is new, changing or simply making you wonder, bring it in.

Mt View Doctors offers skin cancer checks and minor procedures. A GP can look it over and talk through what, if anything, needs to happen next.

Got more than one spot on the list? Mention that when you book so enough time can be set aside.
