For David, life at Azure Blue Redcliffe is about friendship, routine and the little moments that make every day feel good.

After living at the village for just under a year, David says he is here for good.

From morning swims in the heated pool to weekly shopping trips, coffee catch-ups, beach walks with his daughters and the genuine smiles from people around the village, David has found a place that truly feels like home.

This ANZAC Day, Azure Blue Redcliffe pauses to reflect on the bravery, resilience and sacrifice of those who served our nation.

We also acknowledge the many veterans, families and loved ones within our community whose stories and service continue to inspire us.

Lovely food, great company and a wonderful spirit of togetherness at Café Blue Redcliffe for our ANZAC luncheon.

Residents at Azure Blue Redcliffe came together to enjoy a special menu, including minted lamb cutlets, balsamic-glazed pork chops and a mixed-berry pavlova to finish. Even with construction happening around us, it was a fantastic day filled with good conversation, delicious food and plenty of smiles.

A big thank you to the Café Blue team for all their hard work in bringing the luncheon together and creating such a special experience for residents as they paused to reflect, pay their respects and share time together. 💙

A big thank you to our incredible Chef Andrew from Café Blue at Azure Blue Retirement Village, Redcliffe, who has baked ANZAC biscuits for our retirement living residents across South East Queensland—from the Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast, and across Moreton Bay and beyond.

A meaningful gesture as we pause to remember and pay our respects this ANZAC Day. We hope our residents enjoy these treats as they reflect, connect and honour those who served.

Happy 100th Birthday, Pam!

What a beautiful milestone and a truly special day to share together.

Pam celebrated her 100th birthday surrounded by her Azure Blue family, enjoying a lovely morning tea filled with warmth, laughter and connection. A delicious chocolate-on-chocolate cake, made by our very own Café Blue Chef Andrew, made the celebration even sweeter.

Turning 100 is an incredible moment, and it was made all the more meaningful by the caring community around her — the friendships, the shared memories, and the sense of belonging that make Azure Blue feel so much like home.

Please join us in wishing Pam a very happy 100th birthday and celebrating a life so wonderfully lived. 🥳

What a lovely Christmas Lunch celebration! 🎄✨

A heartfelt thank you to Andrew Bruhn for organising the event (even though he couldn’t be there on the day), and to Peta, Nadine, Deborah, and our wonderful resident volunteer Marlene for all their amazing work helping make the day so special for our residents.

A big thank you to Emma Comer MP and Kerri-Anne Dooley for their generous donation of Christmas gift hampers for our residents’ Christmas lunch. 🎄💙

Their support means so much to our community, and our residents are very excited to have these beautiful hampers as lucky door prizes.
