Loneliness does not always look like being alone. Sometimes it feels like having nobody to talk to, withdrawing from activities or simply not feeling like yourself.
During Loneliness Awareness Week, 3–9 August 2026, Avemaria Doctors encourages our community to make room for meaningful conversations. A GP consultation can provide a private and supportive space to discuss your mental well-being, stress, sleep, changing circumstances or concerns about social connection.
You do not need to have everything figured out before starting the conversation. Taking a small step and speaking openly about how you have been feeling may help your GP understand what support could be appropriate for you.
Book an appointment to discuss:
⭐ Mental well-being and emotional health
⭐ Stress, sleep and lifestyle concerns
⭐ Feelings of loneliness or social isolation
⭐ Mental health care planning, where eligible
⭐ Referrals to appropriate support services
⭐ General health concerns affecting wellbeing
💬 Make room for a conversation that matters. Speak with an Avemaria Doctors GP about the support options available for your individual circumstances.
For any queries & booking appointment call reception.
