Shin splints slowing you down? 🏃‍♂️

Remedial massage can be a game-changer when it comes to managing shin pain and helping you get back to moving comfortably.

How it helps:
• Relieves tightness in the calves and muscles along the shin
• Improves circulation to support recovery
• Reduces muscle tension and inflammation
• Helps break up adhesions and overworked tissue
• Improves flexibility and lower-leg function

Shin splints often develop from overuse, tight calf muscles, or sudden increases in training. Targeted remedial massage works on the muscles and connective tissue that attach to the shin, helping reduce strain on the area and speed up recovery.

Pair massage with proper rest, stretching, and gradual return to activity for the best results.

If you’re dealing with persistent shin pain, your body might just be asking for a little maintenance.

🎾 Tennis elbow isn’t just a tennis injury

If gripping, lifting, typing, or repetitive arm use is causing pain on the outside of your elbow, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to live with it.

💆‍♂️ How remedial massage helps:
• Eases pain and inflammation
• Releases tight, overworked forearm muscles
• Improves circulation to support healing
• Restores strength, mobility, and grip
• Helps prevent the pain from coming back

Remedial massage targets the underlying muscle tension contributing to tennis elbow — helping you move better, work easier, and train smarter.

Did you know that tightness in a small shoulder muscle could be the hidden cause of your neck tension, headaches, or even arm pain? Meet the infraspinatus — a deep muscle on your shoulder blade that plays a BIG role in shoulder stability and movement.

💪 What It Does:
The infraspinatus is one of the four rotator cuff muscles. It’s primarily responsible for external rotation of the shoulder and stabilizing the joint during arm movement.

🎯 Why It Gets Tight:
• Poor posture (hello, desk jobs!)
• Repetitive overhead movements
• Shoulder injuries
• Sleeping on one side too often

🔥 Benefits of Massaging the Infraspinatus:
1. Relieves Shoulder Pain – Especially deep, nagging pain in the back of the shoulder or outer arm.
2. Reduces Referred Pain – This muscle can refer pain to the neck, deltoid, or even down the arm — often mimicking nerve pain.
3. Improves Range of Motion – Loosening trigger points allows smoother shoulder rotation and movement.
4. Decreases Tension Headaches – Tight infraspinatus muscles can contribute to tension in the upper traps and neck.
5. Supports Injury Recovery – Especially helpful in post-rotator cuff strain or overuse injuries from sports or weight training.

Using Swedish, deep tissue and trigger point therapy I can help relieve pain and tension in these muscles. Click on 'Book now' or contact me on 0412 727 893 for a remedial massage today. Hope to see you soon! Cheers, Chris
