💙 Happy Father’s Day 💙

Today we give thanks for the fathers, grandfathers and father‑figures who have guided, protected and encouraged us.

We honour the men whose love reflects the care and steadiness we see in God’s own character, patient, faithful and ever‑present.

To all the dads in our community, and to those we remember with affection, may today bring warmth, connection and blessing.

Wishing you a wonderful Father’s Day from all of us at Olivet.

Celebrating Community & Connection at Olivet Care!
We're thrilled to officially announce the opening of our newly transformed Acacia Outdoor Games Courtyard!
Thanks to the incredible support and generosity of our community and the money they raised at least year's Spring Fair, this space has been completely revitalised for our residents, visiting families and school groups to enjoy together.

The celebrations kicked off with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony, surrounded by residents, board members, staff and enthusiastic students from the local Indie School. After opening the gathering in prayer, everyone enjoyed an morning of outdoor games in the new courtyard!

Courtyard Highlights:

💜 Freshly rendered walls and lush green hedge screening
💜 New outdoor furniture and family play equipment
💜 Hand-painted courtyard games, lovingly created by staff member Andrea Green
💜 A hand-sanded bench crafted with care by the Men’s Woodwork Group from our Juniper Household
💜 A billiards table which converts into a table tennis table

As a non-profit organisation owned and operated by the Christadelphian Welfare Association, Olivet Care has been privileged to serve our local Ringwood community for over 70 years. While operational funding covers essential daily care, lifestyle enhancements like this courtyard are made possible through the dedicated support, ideas and generosity of our extended community.

Thank you to everyone who contributed funds, time and craftsmanship to bring this vision to life. We warmly invite families and friends to drop by, enjoy the new courtyard and spend quality time together!

How to Support Future Community Projects:
We are continually looking for ways to enhance daily life for our residents. 🌿 A Fresh Chapter for Our Sensory Garden
There’s something special about wandering through our Sensory Garden. It’s a space designed to encourage calmness, enjoy nature in all it's changing seasons and offer moments of joy to everyone who visits.

Our gardens play an important role in supporting the wellbeing of our residents, especially those living with dementia. By touching, smelling and interacting with the natural environment, residents can experience a sense of grounding, comfort and connection. Nature has a remarkable way of soothing the mind.

As part of our ongoing commitment to creating safe, beautiful spaces, we’ve been redeveloping the Sensory Boardwalk. The original timber had begun to give way, so we've stepped in to rebuild it.

This work is now almost complete and we’re excited to welcome everyone back to enjoy the refreshed walkway very soon.

Watch this space!

Brisbane Christadelphian Conference 2026 🌿

It’s been a wonderful week at the Brisbane Christadelphian Conference! Our team, Jo and Andrew, are on site at our shared booth with Bethsalem Care and Christadelphian Aged Care, connecting with brothers and sisters from across Australia.

The conversations have been truly heart‑warming, full of shared experiences, encouragement and reflections on the God‑honouring work of caring for others.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of this uplifting event and to celebrate the compassion and faith that unite our Christadelphian aged care community.
