😊🍰 All smiles at our Shop & Cook Program! 🍰😊

This week, participants put their shopping and cooking skills into action, selecting ingredients and creating a delicious homemade tiramisu. From start to finish, the kitchen was filled with laughter, teamwork, learning, and plenty of proud smiles as everyone enjoyed the sweet results of their hard work.

Our Service Delivery Coordinator is currently away at the Annual NDIS Conference in Brisbane, deepening her knowledge of NDIS reforms, strengthening her understanding of best-practice service delivery, and keeping up with the latest developments in the disability sector.

🌟 We're Hiring: Disability Support Worker (DSW) 🌟

Home Support Association (HSA) are seeking Disability Support Workers to join our team. We have positions available in Supported Independent Living (SIL) and 1:1 supports.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will have enthusiasm, and a genuine commitment to achieving positive outcomes for people with a disability to enable them to lead an inclusive life in their community.

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
✅ Passion for supporting the rights of people with a disability and working collaboratively with mutual trust and respect
✅ Effective problem solving and decision-making skills
✅ Ability and willingness to work with complex and challenging behaviours
✅ Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
✅ Proven ability to work as part of a team
✅ Basic computer skills and ability to complete SIL shift documentation

What an incredible opportunity for our players to come together and enjoy a fantastic experience after working hard on their own basketball skills week in, week out.
