Lately I've been asking myself one simple question...
"Is there a real threat right now?"

Most of the time, the answer is no.

I'm not being chased.
I'm not in danger.
I'm simply feeling pressure, overwhelm, or the familiar urge to prove myself.

And the moment I realise that, something softens.

My shoulders drop.
My breathing slows.
My body remembers...

For so many years I thought change came from pushing harder.

Now I'm discovering that some of my best choices happen when I stop fighting myself and return to a place of safety instead.

Maybe that's what Return to Radiance really is.

Just remembering that, in this moment...
I'm safe.

And from that place, I can choose what's best for me 🥰

Day 23 - This might be controversial… but I want to be transparent.

For a long time, I interpreted choosing a GLP-1 medication as something that wasn't aligned with self-love.

Not because I judged anyone else.

Because of the story I was telling myself.

I believed that if I ever chose that kind of support, it would mean I'd failed.

But I've realised something.

We accept medical support in so many other areas of our lives without attaching shame to it.

We wear glasses.

We have braces.

We take antibiotics.

We see Psychologists.

Many women choose HRT during menopause.

And let's be honest... no one tells men they should just "try harder" instead of taking a little blue pill to support their s*x life 😘

Support is support.

So why have we made weight the one area where accepting medical help is seen as a moral failing?

I've realised it isn't the support that matters.

It's the relationship you have with yourself while receiving it.

For me, self-leadership is still the bigger story.

I'm still choosing nourishing food.

I'm still moving my body.

I'm still making beauty choices that help me feel vibrant and confident.

I'm still doing the inner work to become a safer place for myself.

If I do decide to choose a GLP-1, it won't replace any of that.

It will simply be one form of support alongside the choices I'm already making.

That's what Return to Radiance means to me.

Not fighting myself.

Not believing I have to earn my health through struggle.

And no longer feeling ashamed to receive support when support helps me become the healthiest, most vibrant version of myself.

If you want to share your experiences with support that works for you, that would be wonderful ✨️

No judgement here x

Just choosing self-leadership one moment at a time and enjoying the journey to feeling radiant.

Day 22: The little things are changing everything.

Today I caught myself making tiny adjustments throughout the day.

Standing a little taller.
Relaxing my shoulders.
Choosing food by asking, "How do I want to feel afterwards?" instead of "What should I eat?"

None of these things feel dramatic.

But together, they're changing the way I move through my day.

I'm noticing that healthier choices feel less like something I'm forcing myself to do and more like an expression of the life I want to live..

That's a completely different feeling.

It's self-leadership, not self-control.

And I have a feeling that's what lasting change really feels like 🩵

I've decided to stop colouring over my grey roots.

Not because I've given up.

Because I've decided to stop fighting myself.

If I'm honest, constantly covering my regrowth has become exhausting. Sprays, touch-up powders, planning around appointments... and ending up with little patches of brown on my pillows, my hands, my clothes and anything else I accidentally touched.

It's a lot of energy spent hiding something that's completely natural.

Lately I've realised that so much of my work is about coming home to ourselves instead of constantly trying to earn our worth.

So this is my next little experiment in self-leadership.

Not abandoning self-care.
Not letting myself go.
Simply working with who I am instead of against her.

I'm beginning the journey of gently blending my grey rather than covering it.

It feels surprisingly vulnerable.

But it also feels... freeing.

Maybe radiance isn't about looking younger.

Maybe it's about the peace that comes when we stop resisting ourselves 🩶

This is just phase 1.. it is a process.. like everything else 😊

Day 21 - I've been a little quiet lately. And if I'm honest, I've fallen for the "life got busy" excuse myself.

The interesting thing is that when life gets busy, we don't usually lose our habits.

We lose our awareness.

The habits that are deeply wired into our nervous system keep running automatically.

That's why it's so easy to find yourself pouring a wine, reaching for the chocolate, or slipping back into an old pattern before you've even consciously realised you've made the choice.

The old response is familiar and fast.

The new response needs practice.

It needs evidence.

Every time we pause.
Every time we notice.
Every time we choose differently.

We're teaching our nervous system that there's another way.

Not through force.

Not through guilt.

Not through self-punishment.

But through repetition and self-trust.

✨ The goal isn't to become a different woman overnight.

It's to become the kind of woman whose healthier choices feel increasingly natural because they're aligned with who she's becoming.

And that takes time.

Be patient with yourself.

Your nervous system is learning too.

🌸 Day 20 - Maybe It Was Never About My Weight..

I thought I was afraid of failing.

Turns out, I might have been afraid of succeeding.

As a teenager, I hid my success to avoid bullying.

I learned not to stand out.

Not to shine too brightly.

Not to be accused of "showing off."

And I think a lot of Australian women grow up with the same message:
- Be successful, but not too successful.
- Be confident, but not too confident.

Now I'm wondering...

How many of our goals aren't blocked by lack of discipline?

How many are blocked by a subconscious fear of being seen?

Maybe that's why stepping into a healthier body, a bigger goal, a new business, a promotion, or even posting on social media can feel uncomfortable.

💛

Because maybe confidence isn't about becoming more.

Maybe it's about giving yourself permission to stop hiding xx

Day 19 – Your Body Can Tell The Difference ✨

I’m starting to realise my body can tell the difference between pressure… and genuine care.

Between forcing… and listening.

For years, so much of “health” has felt like rules, restriction, tracking, guilt, and constantly feeling like I need to change myself to be enough.

And honestly, I think my nervous system is tired of being treated like a project.

So lately, instead of obsessing over what I “should” eat, I’ve been slowing down and asking:

What would actually feel good right now?
What would taste genuinely nourishing?
What would leave me feeling calmer instead of more stressed?

A few times lately I’ve had chocolate thinking that’s what I wanted… and then almost immediately noticed the chemical taste and how flat I felt afterwards.

Not from judgement.
Not because chocolate is “bad.”

Just because my body noticed.

And I think that awareness changes things more deeply than forcing ever did.

Less pressure.
More listening.

And somehow… that feels like the beginning of real radiance 🌿
