Today, we proudly support Daffodil Day and the incredible work of Cancer Council.

For many Australians, cancer has touched their lives in some way β€” whether through their own diagnosis or that of a family member, friend or loved one.

The daffodil is a symbol of hope β€” hope for better treatments, hope for more precious time with the people we love, and hope for a future where no one has to face cancer alone.

This Daffodil Day, we acknowledge everyone currently facing cancer, remember those we have lost, and recognise the families, carers, healthcare professionals and researchers who provide care and support every day.

🌼 Give hope. Support Daffodil Day. 🌼

πŸ’› June is World Infertility Awareness Month πŸ’›

Infertility affects millions of individuals and families worldwide, yet it is often a journey travelled in silence.

This month, we acknowledge and support those who are:
🌼 Navigating fertility treatments, tests and uncertainty
🌼 Coping with loss, grief and unanswered questions
🌼 Holding onto hope through difficult times
🌼 Supporting a partner, family member or friend on their journey
🌼 Exploring different paths to parenthood
🌼 Feeling unseen or isolated in their experience

Every fertility journey is unique, and every story deserves compassion, understanding and support.

If you or someone you know is facing fertility challenges, remember that you are not alone.

πŸ’› Awareness. Compassion. Community. Hope.

πŸ’™ What is Bowel Cancer? πŸ’™

Bowel cancer develops when abnormal cells grow in the lining of the bowel (large intestine or re**um). It often begins as small growths called polyps, which can become cancerous over time.

Common symptoms may include:
βœ”οΈ Changes in bowel habits
βœ”οΈ Blood in the stool
βœ”οΈ Abdominal pain or bloating
βœ”οΈ Unexplained fatigue or weight loss

Sometimes bowel cancer may have no symptoms in the early stages, which is why screening is so important.

🩺 Eligible Australians aged 45–74 can complete a free bowel screening test through the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program.

πŸ“ž If you have symptoms or concerns, book an appointment with your GP. Early detection can save lives. πŸ’™
