At headspace, we know that strong, supportive relationships play an important role in young people's wellbeing. That's why we're pleased to share this upcoming Dads and Daughters Conference, celebrating connection, communication, and quality time between dads and daughters.
Meet Chelsea ๐
Weโre pleased to have Chelsea from headspace Roma joining us for Dads of Girls.
Chelsea is a Youth Access Clinician with headspace Roma and also supports their outreach program, which currently includes clinics in Wallumbilla and Mitchell, both in the community and within local schools, including Roma State College Senior Campus.
Having lived and worked in the Maranoa for nearly seven years, Chelsea has a strong passion for rural and remote mental health and for making sure young people can access support where they live, learn and connect.
Chelsea is also a proud mum to a neurodiverse 17-year-old daughter, so she brings not only her professional experience, but her own perspective as a mum navigating the teenage years.
At Dads of Girls, Chelsea will be part of the conversation about supporting young people, staying connected and being there when your daughter needs you.
Because sometimes, being there matters. ๐
Come along, have a yarn, ask questions and hear from local people who work with young people and families every day.
