Welcome to the team, Jessica! 💙🧡

Jessica graduated from RMIT University in 2013 after completing a Bachelor of Applied Science (Complementary Medicine) and Master of Osteopathy. After graduating, Jessica worked in Melbourne until deciding to call the Macedon Ranges home in 2019.

Jessica has a keen interest in pregnancy and rehabilitation within osteopathy, which led to further education and skills into the area of pelvic health. She is passionate about expanding her knowledge of current techniques and improving individual patient outcomes. She enjoys the dynamic challenges osteopathy brings and particularly enjoy interacting with people from all walks of life.

When not in the clinic, Jessica enjoys being a mum to her two children, playing netball and catching up with friends and family over a long lunch.

Jessica is a registered osteopath with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and is a member of Osteopathy Australia (OA).

Jessica has completed further training in:

Please give a warm welcome to our new osteopath, Michael Fleischmann! ✨️👏

Michael is a registered osteopath with over 15 years of experience who provides calm, thorough, and patient-centred care. In clinic, Michael focuses on understanding the whole picture—your symptoms, daily demands, health history, goals, and what you’re most concerned about—so that treatment is safe, tailored, and makes sense to you.

He commonly works with musculoskeletal pain and movement problems, including neck and back pain, headaches, shoulder and hip issues, sporting and overuse injuries, and persistent pain where multiple factors may be contributing. Michael places a strong emphasis on clear explanation and shared decision making: you’ll understand what he thinks is happening, what the options are, what to expect, and how you can take an active role in recovery.

Treatment may include hands-on osteopathic techniques, advice on movement and load management, and practical home strategies. Sessions are guided by your preferences and comfort, with close attention to safety, consent, and the pace that feels right for you.

Michael holds a PhD and is an academic at Victoria University, where he teaches and supervises in health programs. He brings this evidence-informed mindset into every consultation, and collaborates with GPs and other health professionals when needed so your care is coordinated and supports your broader health goals.

We are so excited to welcome Michael's expertise and patient-centred care to Romsey! 🤩

Yesterday we celebrated another big year at Better Living Osteo – and a few special milestones too.

We said a heartfelt goodbye to one of our wonderful osteopaths, Tara, and wished her all the best on her next chapter 💛
At the same time, we excitedly welcomed Jacob to the team – who has made himself well known to the clinic already! 👋
In between some chaos, we had the most wonderful locums help look after our patients, looking at you Danni and Cherie!!!

A huge thank you to our beautiful community for your support and patience this year, especially as we welcomed the twins into our family. Your kindness, flexibility and understanding have meant the world to us as we’ve juggled clinic life and home life 🩷🩷🩷

Please give a warm welcome to our new osteopath, Jacob 🙌

Jacob graduated from RMIT University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy).

Jacob enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions and has a particular interest in supporting patients from sporting backgrounds. His treatment approach is holistic and individualised, aiming to meet the unique needs of each patient and support their long-term health and performance.

Having played sport previously, he understands how injuries can impact not only physical ability but also overall wellbeing. This drives his commitment to helping people recover effectively, build resilience, and return to the activities they love as safely and quickly as possible.

Outside of work, Jacob is a huge North Melbourne fan and rarely misses a game of footy or cricket. When he's not watching sport, he is usually in the gym with mates.

Jacob is a registered osteopath with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA).

He has completed further training in:
• Dry Needling Level 1
• Myofascial Cupping Level 1.

Jacob is available on Wednesday and Thursdays at Better Living Osteo for appointments!

Sam and Anthony are absolutely delighted settling into a family of 5. And big girl 💜 Violet 💜 is already so in love with her sisters.

Thank you to everyone for their support and kind words. Anthony will be taking a couple of weeks off as they settle in at home 🏡

We're sad to announce that Tara has officially finished up with us this week 💔

Tara has been an invaluable part of the Better Living Osteo team- offering expert care, compassion and dedication to every patient she's come across ✨️🙌

Whilst we're sad to see her go, we wish Tara the best of luck as she moves into a hands off Osteopathic role in rehabilitation consulting 💐

Welcome Danielle Baxter to the clinic team!🎉

We’re thrilled to announce that Danielle, a passionate and experienced osteopath, is now consulting at our clinic🙌

Danielle has been working in private practice since 2013 and brings a warm, patient-centred approach to care. She’s a familiar face in the Sunbury community and loves helping people reach their functional goals using hands-on techniques, movement, and meaningful conversation 🫶

Outside the clinic, Danielle is a lecturer in Osteopathy at RMIT University and holds a PhD in Complementary Medicine. Her research focuses on non-pharmacological care for chronic conditions and the role of osteopathy in supporting older adults. She also serves as a Board Director for the Australian Osteopathic Accreditation Council 🤓

And most notably, she is a Mum to two very energetic kids! 🩷💙
