❄️ Winter is here, but we are bringing the warmth with our creativity! ❄️

Join us next Monday at the Uconnex Day Program for a very special and cozy art session: The Spark Bear - Paint Your Thoughts! 🐻✨

As the chilly VIC winter rolls in, we are turning up our imaginations. Every person has a unique "spark"—a bright, beautiful energy on the inside. To kick off the class, we will be using blank canvas bears to paint our thoughts! Participants will express their inner energy using bright, abstract colors and shapes straight onto the bears. 🎨

But we can’t let that beautiful spark freeze in the cold weather!
Once your bright thoughts are painted on, you are going to become winter fashion designers! 🧣🧤 Using fabrics, yarn, and your imagination, you will design and create colorful, warming clothes to wrap your bear in, keeping your inner spark safe and cozy for the winter.

We absolutely cannot wait to see everyone's inner magic and winter fashion come to life.

What we're making:
Fresh, handmade Wontons and Dumplings.

At Uconnex, our Monday Day Programs are about much more than just learning a routine or finishing a project—they are about connection. We believe in building a space where art meets conversation and where every participant has a story to share.

Tomorrow, we’re blending fine art with functionality. Join our community for a morning of "usable art" as we decorate elegant wooden boxes—perfect for jewellery, keys, or your most precious keepsakes.

The Morning Flow:

10:00 AM – Community Talk & Breakfast: We start the day by gathering together. Enjoy free coffee and fresh croissants on us! This is our time to catch up, share stories, and support one another in a relaxed, friendly environment. ☕🥐

11:00 AM – Jewellery Box Art Class: Once we’ve filled our cups (and hearts), we start our creative session. We’ll help you turn a simple box into a sophisticated piece of fine art.

Something special is molding into shape this Monday! 🐾✨

We’ve had a slight change of plans for our Day Program tomorrow, 20 April. While we are moving our Cooking Class to a later date, we’ve made room for a truly "hands-on" experience!

This workshop is specially designed for those who love creating 3D masterpieces. We’ll be diving into "miniature life" styles, using DIY Polymer Clay to sculpt our very own cute pets, floral keychains, and nature-inspired shapes. 🐶🌵
