True or False: Dyslexia Myths
Dyslexia comes with more myths than almost any topic we cover. Let’s clear up the big ones, because early support genuinely changes the story. 🌳
Does dyslexia mean my child sees letters backwards? No. Dyslexia is a difficulty connecting sounds to letters, not a vision problem, and reversing letters is normal in early writing. It runs in families and says nothing about intelligence, so a family history is worth flagging early.
