Australia’s National Lung Cancer Screening Program is already saving lives.

Since 1 July2025:
âś… More than 100,000 eligible Australians have screened for lung cancer
âś… 230+ lung cancers detected.
âś… Around 285 people are joining the program every day.

Early detection saves lives. When lung cancer is found early, more than 65% of lung cancers can be successfully treated.

If you’re aged 50 to 70 with a history of smoking, join the thousands of people already screening.

This is something we hear from patients more often than you might expect.

Many people experiencing anxiety are very aware of what’s happening.

They know their thoughts are excessive. They know there isn’t always a clear reason for the worry. But their mind keeps going.

The NSW government has announced that FluMist is now funded for children aged 2 to 17 years (previously 2 to 4 years). this is subject to availability.

FluMist is a Needle free intranasal Live Vaccine. It is administered as one quick spray into each nostril.

These viruses can lead to hospitalisation and death, but with safe and effective vaccines readily available, it’s easy to protect yourself.

Check if you’re eligible for free vaccines:
🔹COVID-19 vaccine free for adults in Australia regardless of Medicare or visa status.
🔹Flu vaccine is free for people 65 and over and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 6 months and over.
🔹RSV vaccine is now free for people 75 and over and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 60 and over.
