Youth gives us intensity. Maturity gives us depth.
And depth may be one of the most erotic qualities of all.

I’m often asked why I’ve devoted so much of my life to studying s*xuality. And I think at a fundamental level it’s because it’s one of the places where we encounter ourselves and relationship and consciousness all at once. Which is why s*xual growth can be so transformative. I just love seeing that in my clients and others I work with. It’s powerful stuff.
You can read on my thoughts on my Substack - The Erotic Provocateur.

“Most couples don’t actually need an open relationship”
A provocative thought perhaps…
But after years working with couples, I’ve noticed that many people seeking open relationships are not actually hungry for more people.
They’re hungry for more aliveness, honesty, more vulnerability, and freedom to speak openly about desire and intimacy.
Sometimes couples become more s*xually alive not because they open the relationship…
…but because they actually open to each other.

Most relationships don’t need fixing.

They need truth.

But the moment you tell the truth…
the dynamic changes.

It’s confronting.
And also liberating.

Because that’s where real intimacy begins.

Where are you still playing along?

One of the biggest misunderstandings about s*x is that we treat it like it exists separately from the relationship.

As though desire lives entirely inside an individual person.
But s*xuality is deeply relational.

In early relationships, the conditions naturally support erotic connection. There’s novelty, fascination, anticipation, focus and emotional energy.

Long-term relationships often contain very different conditions:
stress, logistics, children, exhaustion, resentment, emotional distance and nervous system overload.

So rather than asking: “What’s wrong with our libido?”
Ask: “What kind of relational ecosystem are we living inside together?”

Because great s*x in long-term relationships is rarely accidental. It emerges from the emotional climate of the relationship itself.

This is the heart of Relational S*xology: understanding s*x not as an isolated act, but as an emergent property of a relational system.
