WHY DO WE KEEP CHOOSING THE SAME PERSON IN A DIFFERENT BODY?

Have you noticed this in your Life?

The face changes.
The name changes.
The city changes.
The age changes.

But somehow…
There’s a familiar story

Different partner.
Same disappointment.
Same longing.
Same heartbreak.
Same ending.

We call it bad luck.
We call it fate.
We tell ourselves,
“I keep attracting the wrong people.”

But what if that isn’t what’s happening?

Yoga teaches that until consciousness awakens…
We don’t choose from freedom.
We choose from what yoga calls Samskaras.

The unconscious impressions left by every experience we’ve never fully digested.

These patterns become the blueprint through which we see the world.

Without realising it…
The familiar begins to feel like love.
Not because it’s healthy.
Because it’s known.

Modern neuroscience tells us something remarkably similar.
The brain is constantly trying to predict what comes next.
What is familiar requires less energy than what is unfamiliar.

Even when familiar is painful.
This is why people often recreate relationship dynamics that hurt them.
Not because they enjoy suffering.
But because the nervous system mistakes familiarity for safety.

Read that again.

The nervous system often confuses what is familiar with what is safe.
That changes everything.
Perhaps you weren’t attracting unavailable people.
Perhaps your unconscious recognised them.
Perhaps your patterns attracted the same type of situations.

“This feels like home.”

Even though home was where your heart learned to wait…
To earn love…
To over-give…
To settle…

To hope someone would finally become who you needed them to be.
Awakening begins the moment you stop asking…
“Why does this keep happening to me?”
And instead ask…
“What part of me still believes this is love?”

That question has the power to end generations of unconscious patterning.
Because you cannot heal what you refuse to see.
And you cannot choose differently…
Until you become different.
🖤
Perhaps you were never meeting the same person.

Perhaps you were meeting the same unconscious pattern… waiting for you to awaken.

THE TEACHER WITHIN
As we move towards Guru Purnima and enter the sacred month of Śrāvaṇa, we pause to honour every teacher who has shaped our lives.

Not only the spiritual masters.

But the parents who challenged us.
The friends who stood beside us.
The lovers who opened our hearts.
The losses that humbled us.
The failures that awakened us.
Even the people who hurt us.

Every one of them pointed us towards something deeper.

In the yogic tradition, the highest purpose of the Guru is never to create followers.

It is to awaken the Guru within.

The still, unwavering presence beneath the noise of the mind.
The wisdom that has always existed beneath fear, doubt and conditioning.

This Tuesday’s Kriya Yoga practice is an invitation to become quiet enough to hear that inner voice once again.

Through breath…
Through Kriya…
Through mantra…
Through meditation…

we clear the static and reconnect with the intelligence already living inside us.

Because the greatest teacher you will ever meet is the one waiting in the silence of your own heart.

THE EMERGENCE OF THE FORMLESS INTO FORM
This is the teaching that has been calling me more deeply than any other.
Not birth.
Not creation.
But the moment the infinite enters the finite.
The moment consciousness becomes matter.
The moment the formless becomes… you.
Every heartbeat.
Every breath.
Every sunrise.
Every newborn child.
Every thought becoming a word.
The miracle isn’t rare.
It is happening continuously.
Yet we have become hypnotised by the form.
We identify with our body, our history, our fears, our successes, our opinions and our wounds.
We forget the one who is aware of them.
Over the course of my life, I have come close to death five times.
Each experience stripped away another layer of what I thought I was.
Watching my own body from beyond it changed me forever.
It revealed something I could never again ignore:
Consciousness is far greater than the form through which it expresses itself.
This is why the Śiva Liṅga speaks to me so profoundly.
Not as a religious object.
But as the sign of the Infinite entering the visible.
The timeless appearing within time.
The Column of Light becoming form.
Perhaps awakening is not about becoming someone new.
Perhaps it is simply remembering what has always been here…
The silent awareness looking through your eyes at this very moment.
May we stop sleeping through the miracle.
You are not separate from creation.
You are creation becoming conscious of itself. #

A New Season Begins…

There are certain times during the year that naturally invite us to pause, reflect and begin again.

This is one of them.

On Wednesday 29 July, we’ll gather for a Sacred Fire Ceremony—an ancient yogic practice of releasing what no longer serves us and consciously setting an intention for what lies ahead.

Across cultures, fire has always symbolised transformation.

It turns the old into ash.

It creates warmth, light and new possibility.

Together we’ll use this powerful ritual to let go of old stories, limiting beliefs and emotional weight, creating space for greater clarity, resilience and purpose.

This gathering coincides with Guru Purnima, a traditional celebration of wisdom and gratitude. In yoga, the word guru simply means “the one who brings light where there was darkness.” It reminds us to honour the teachers, experiences and inner wisdom that help us grow.

Then, on Thursday 30 July at 6:30am, we welcome the beginning of Śrāvaṇa with a special Kriya Yoga practice.

For centuries, yogis have recognised this time of year as an ideal opportunity to deepen self-awareness, restore balance to the nervous system and recommit to daily practice.

Whether you’ve been practising for years or are just beginning your journey, this is an invitation to start with intention.

Not to become someone else…

But to uncover more of who you already are.

GOSSIP ISN’T ENTERTAINMENT. IT’S VIOLENCE.

I’ve witnessed throughout my life and particularly recently with the use of the internet the destructive nature of GOSSIP!
Whether true or false it’s the inherent shadow nature of many humans to revel and immerse themselves in fabricated stories.

Relayed as truth.

A careless whisper.
A false accusation.
A rumour repeated by someone who never stopped to ask if it was true.

And suddenly, a person’s reputation, livelihood, relationships, and years of good work can begin to unravel.

People often speak of karma while casually destroying another human being with their words.

The saddest part?

Those who gossip rarely witness the devastation they leave behind.

The sleepless nights.
The clients who quietly disappear.
The friendships that dissolve.
The opportunities that vanish.
The trust that takes years to rebuild.

It costs nothing to verify the truth.
It costs everything to spread a lie.

True spiritual maturity is not measured by how many mantras you chant or how many retreats you attend.

It is measured by the integrity of your speech.

Before speaking about another, ask yourself:

Is it true?
Is it necessary?
Is it kind?

If not, silence is the greater act of compassion.

A person’s character is revealed not by what they say to your face…
but by what they say when you’re not in the room.

Guard your words.

Because once released, they can never be taken back.

And sometimes, they leave wounds no apology can ever heal.

I ask please do your research, be discerning with the information that arrives in front of you.

BHAIRAVI • BHAIRAVA

In Western psychology it translates as ANIMA .ANIMUS

It is NOT the duality of the genders we attach too.
Nor is it the identities that brings.

She is not separate from Him.
She is His power in motion.
He is Her stillness made infinite.

Bhairavi is the fire that burns through illusion.
Bhairava is the vast awareness that remains when nothing false is left.

One is Shakti.
One is Shiva.

Together they reveal the deepest Ta***ic truth:

The awakened heart does not choose between fierce and gentle, darkness and light, stillness and action.

It becomes spacious enough to hold them all.

Within every seeker lives a Bhairavi waiting to awaken courage…
and a Bhairava waiting to awaken unshakable presence.

When these two currents unite within you, fear dissolves.

This is the practice of Yog
To connect to and u destined these aspects of ourselves that are within us.
Not outside of us.

Division always creates aggression, weakness, instability, fear!

May your practice awaken both the fire that transforms… and the silence that liberates.

And the resolve to come home to the truth of yourself.
