"I thought I was immune to skin cancer."

Those are the words of fishing enthusiast and TV host Rob Paxevanos, who spent decades outdoors believing he was doing enough to protect his skin.

Like many Australians, Rob didn't spend his days lying on the beach. But years of fishing, working outdoors, and exposure to reflected UV off the water eventually caught up with him. It wasn't until a persistent itchy spot on his cheek was checked that he discovered he had skin cancer.

🌿 Welcome Dr Tapash Saha 🌿

We’re pleased to welcome Dr Tapash Saha to the team at St Marys Skin Cancer Clinic.

Dr Saha is a Medical Practitioner with a strong focus on skin cancer medicine and surgery, bringing over 5 years of experience in the field. He holds a Diploma in Skin Cancer Surgery and a Certificate of Dermoscopy, and is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.

He provides comprehensive skin cancer care, including full-body skin checks, early detection and diagnosis of skin cancers, biopsy of suspicious lesions, and both standard excisions and advanced procedures such as flaps and grafts. Dr Saha is experienced in managing a wide range of skin cancer concerns and is committed to delivering thorough, high-quality treatment.

Dr Saha takes pride in ensuring his patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their care, with a strong emphasis on early detection and achieving the best possible outcomes. He also values building long-term relationships with his patients and supporting their ongoing skin health.
