Its Heart Week! Did you know many Australians are eligible for a heart health check?

A heart health check is a 20-minute, Medicare-covered (bulk-billed) GP check-up for adults over 45 (or 30 for First Nations peoples) to assess your risk of a heart attack or stroke. It involves measuring blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar, along with assessing lifestyle factors like diet and smoking.
