We welcomed the Diabetes Alliance Program to Bay Doctors today, offering patients a consult with a specialist endocrinologist, diabetes educator and a dietician. It was a fabulous day for our patients and for our practice.

Vale this extraordinary man who made such a difference to all those battling melanoma, and now brain cancer. A very sad day

Professor Richard Scolyer, the former Australian of the Year who undertook an experimental treatment for his highly aggressive brain cancer, has died at the age of 59.

His family confirmed his death in Sydney on Sunday.

Happy 8th Birthday to Bay Doctors!! 🎉🎈🎂

Well, a lot has happened in that 8 years. I’ve had a number of my original lovely patients at the new practice recently remark “wow, remember when you started in the Cinema Mall..” And yes I do. Much water under the bridge. Another question I got yesterday; “Did you ever envisage yourself here?” And the answer is no. I was entirely happy with my little cottage, it was so lovely. But when you have beautiful people come and join the team you have to put them somewhere!!

I am so very grateful for Lynn and Dave having faith in our little business and joining us all those years ago. Without every one of our beautiful people that make the place run smoothly every day it would not be the lovely outfit it is. And a big shout out to my husband, the brains behind the whole place (don’t tell him I said that). Without his input we would still be just plodding along. He works tirelessly behind the scenes and is the reason our place now looks like this! Love our new space.
