Starting a new year brings reflection for the past year, and hope for the year ahead, it offers an opportunity to take into the next year things we value and leave behind things we don’t. I definitely haven’t got life all figured out 😅 but the following rings true both through longevity studies and my own experience - good relationships are key to good health and wellness, more than any food, exercise regime, or health trend. This year surround yourself with wholesome relationships, those that encourage you to be better humans, those that love you and you love, and those that bring you joy. Make your first health resolution for 2026 one where you invest in healthy relationships.

Already drooling over tomorrows breakfast 🤤My mushroom and avo smash: 1 large piece of sour dough, 1/3 avo, 6ish button mushrooms and a decent handful of spinach sautéed in butter, garlic and thyme 👌🏻, a little squeeze of lemon juice, and for me, an inappropriate amount of pepper. Deliciousness packed with veggies 🙌🙌

Confession: After discovering organic was not really better than conventional I became kind of a fanatic. I was getting ticked off at misleading organic marketing. When I saw organic products at friends' homes I had to really bite my tongue to not say something (or only talk about it *just a bit*.)

I've now come to see all food, both organic and conventional, as good food. I appreciate the fact that I can eat good food and that I have an abundance of choices. I see food with gratitude.

Not that I give a free pass to the misleading "I'm better than thou" organic marketing. It's OK to sell food, it's not OK to mislead. What is your take on this?

These days, Stan Lee and Marvel are almost unimaginably successful, raking in hundreds of millions of dollars per movie. But along the way to building a multimedia empire, Marvel took a few strange turns along the the way. Like the time they released a how-to exercise book starring some of their big...
