My son is on camp at the moment in Ballina and he is still finding his courage to step into these spaces. Last night I received a call from his teacher, he was very distressed and wanted to come home. So I drove 3hrs to collect him and by the time I got there he had settled and gone to sleep. So I stayed. This morning I woke to a happy son that he had been able to settle himself and wants to stay at camp and I get a beautiful walk on the beach. So why am I talking about perspective. We have so many moments like these where life throws us a curve ball, it’s inconvenient, not what we were expecting, requires more effort than we feel like we have but the lens on which we look at these moments makes all the difference to whether we receive magic or mayhem. I could of been frustrated that I had to drive all this way for nothing, had to change plans around at home, reschedule my day today but instead I’m grateful I see the magic in this moment, my son taking a step of courage, a morning walk on the beach an opportunity to explore a sleepy beach town and make the most of a day cleared now just for me. My perspective is I am blessed in all moments and free to allow life to take me in its flow. I hope you have magic in your day today ❤️✨
