What is a pelvic health consultation?

A Pelvic Health Osteo consultation places a heavy focus on Pelvic Floor complaints; both primary & secondary.

Similar to that of other consults, a Pelvic Health consult is comprised of assessment (external and internal where applicable), osteopathic manual therapy, rehabilitation exercises, management strategies and education.

What is a TMJD Consultation?
A TMJD consultation focuses on concerns related to the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). Common presentations may include jaw pain, clicking, locking, or headaches that originate from the jaw and its associated structures. By addressing both the jaw and its interconnected structures, we can achieve a more comprehensive and effective outcome.

The session typically includes a thorough assessment - evaluating jaw movement, tenderness, and joint function. Followed by hands-on treatment, targeted rehabilitation exercises and education about the condition. Long-term management strategies are also discussed to support ongoing improvement and prevent recurrence.
