Recently, some individuals have received fake emails from "HotDoc Refund Services". Please be assured that there has been no data breach at HotDoc. This is a widespread phishing scam, and the messages are not from HotDoc.

If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from HotDoc, please review the safety checklist below.

🔍 How to Verify a Real HotDoc Message
HotDoc prioritizes your privacy and security. A genuine message from HotDoc will always include at least three specific details to confirm its authenticity:

Your name

Our clinic’s name (or your specific doctor’s name)

Your actual appointment or booking information

🛑 Essential Safety Rules
Do not click on any links or reply to the message.

Check the website link carefully: Real HotDoc links only point to hotdoc.com, hotdoc.com.au, or hotdoc.io. Watch out for clever misspellings.

Check the sender's email: Genuine HotDoc emails will only come from .com.au or domains ending in .com, .com.au, or .io.

Be wary of unexpected phone calls: HotDoc will never call you unless you have explicitly contacted their support team first.

🛡️ How to Take Action
Secure Your Account: We highly recommend enabling extra protection on your accounts via Multifactor Authentication (MFA).

Report the Scam: If you received a fake email, please help us fight these scammers. Use the "Report Phishing" or "Report Spam" feature within your email provider (like Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo) to flag it.
