We are pleased to advise that **Dr Junmin will be available for consultations on Saturday, 1 August 2026, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.**

This Kidney Health Week (1–7 July), understand your risk factors for Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).
🩺 **Kidney Health Week | 1-7 July**

Did you know that early-stage **Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)** may not cause noticeable symptoms?

Certain factors are associated with an increased risk of developing kidney disease, including:

✅ Living with diabetes
✅ Having high blood pressure (hypertension)
✅ A family history of kidney failure
✅ Being aged 60 years or older

A kidney health check may help assess kidney function and identify signs of kidney disease.

A routine assessment commonly includes:

1️⃣ **A blood test** to measure your **eGFR (estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate)**
2️⃣ **A urine test** to measure your **ACR (Albumin Creatinine Ratio)**

📅 If any of these risk factors apply to you, consider discussing whether a kidney health check is appropriate for you with your GP.

Sarina Clinic will be CLOSED on Thursday, 18 June 2026, for the Sarina Show Day public holiday.

We will re-open on Friday, 19 June 2026, at 8:00 AM and resume normal operating hours.

🎗️JUNE IS BOWEL CANCER AWARENESS MONTH - TAKE ACTION TODAY 🎗️

Bowel cancer is Australia's second deadliest cancer, but when detected early, it is highly treatable.

At Sarina Clinic, we encourage everyone aged 45 years and over to speak with their GP about bowel cancer screening and any symptoms that may be concerning.

🚨 Don't ignore these warning signs:
🔴 B – Blood in your stool or re**al bleeding
🔴 O – Ongoing changes in bowel habits
🔴 W – Weight loss without trying
🔴 E – Extreme tiredness or fatigue
🔴 L – Lasting abdominal pain, bloating or discomfort

Many people with bowel cancer may have no symptoms at all, which is why screening is so important.
