Last Friday night, Sarah and Vanessa represented the McQueen team with a stand at network’s International Women’s Day event featuring special guest speaker . exists to empower females in the medical industry through mentorship, connection, collaboration and support. We are so proud to have been part of such a spectacular event and look forward to continuing our involvement with this impressive organisation.

We go through medical school learning such an overwhelming volume of information and hard facts. But nobody teaches us how to negotiate. We are negotiating every day, hundreds of times. With patients, families, other doctors, our employers, our spouses.

I think these crucial ‘soft skills’ are so powerful but so readily overlooked.
