Our Occupational Therapists recently completed the Emotional Regulation program, here is what they had to say!

Led by Clinical Psychologist Verusha Kander and accompanied by one of our senior Mental Health OT’s, this program has been designed for paediatric OT’s wanting to move beyond isolated strategies towards lasting family change. 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒
Across 10 fortnightly live sessions, you will build a family-centred way of working that assesses, formulates and partners with caregivers, so change continues beyond the therapy room.

Mealtimes can be one of the most stressful parts of the day when your child is fussy with food, and it is easy to feel like you have tried everything.

We pulled together some common questions families bring to our feeding clinic. Swipe through for clear answers from our feeding team.

If mealtimes feel hard most days, or you are worried about growth, gagging or a very limited range of foods, that is a good time to reach out for more support. 🤍

Save this for later, and comment below for further resources.

Emotional regulation lives in the family, not the child alone.

You were trained to treat the child in front of you. When the family system is not part of the work, even good therapy can stall. This program is for paediatric Occupational Therapists ready to move beyond isolated strategies, toward lasting family change 🤍

Over ten sessions you will build a family-centred approach to assessing, formulating and partnering with caregivers, so change holds beyond the therapy room. Every session includes case discussion, structured activities and role play, so you leave having practised the skill.
