It was a busy couple of days for GV Skin last week!
We started with a clinic breakfast, some team photo shots with The Shepp News and participated in Pyjama Day (another post about that coming soon!).
The week finished with a clinic dinner on Friday night to welcome our new staff (along with their families).
Since the beginning of this year, we have added 7 staff members!
Practicing with us now are Dr Naga Battershetty, Dr Sumitha Rajendra Kumar and Dr Ayotunde Awosolu, along with our new Dermoscopist Olivia Gleeson.
Stephanie has joined our fantastic nursing team and Kellianne & Liz have joined Leah at reception to make up our 3-member admin team, with welcome greetings when you first walk in!
Lots of great changes have happened in just a short space of time that we are truly excited about and just watch this space for even more to come! 🥳

This year on 28th July, our GV Skin team (henceforth to be known as The Mole Patrol 😆) are participating in The Pyjama Foundation's National Pyjama Day!

Along the way so far, we have even managed to make the top 5 fundraising workplaces across Australia!
And with some time left until the big day, we hope we can do even better 🥳

The work family that CPR's together, saves lives together!
Last week the GV Skin Team undertook training to make sure we can look after you not only when it comes to your skin health, but in the case of a medical emergency too.
From the Doctor's and Nurses, through to our Admin/Reception team, we all took our turns completing the Online Assessment questionnaire and then the practical skill demonstration.
It was a huge relief that we all managed successfully save the lives of 'Big Jim' and 'Little Fifi''!

(Classification: Enrolled nurse)

We are looking to employ a practice nurse to help assist our Doctors in providing quality care to our patients.
Our clinic provides a friendly, positive and respectful environment. Patient care and early cancer detection is our focus.
The suitable candidate will need to be professional, have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Your Role:-Assisting Doctors with procedural workProvide after care duties, removal of sutures and wound managementSterilizing surgical equipmentRestocking of equipment/surgical consumables

Preferred but not essential:-Experience with wound managementSurgical assisting

On the job training is provided.

We are looking to employ a receptionist to work in our busy reception area. Our clinic provides a friendly, positive, and respectful environment to all.

As the first point of call we require a reliable and friendly attitude with a willingness to assist our patients, doctors, and staff.

The suitable candidate will need to be professional, have excellent communication and phone & computer skills and an eagerness to learn. On-the- job training is provided.

Part-time position to commence June 2024 then to become fulltime covering maternity leave position beginning August 2024.
