We are now offering bio-regeneration, a medical skin treatment that supports the skin's extracellular matrix. How the skin responds depends on individual factors including age, baseline skin condition, and lifestyle. 🩻

Treatment is structured as a series of sessions, with maintenance determined on an individual basis.

A consultation with a qualified practitioner is the starting point for understanding whether this approach suits you.

As we age, skin becomes more reactive. This is not a coincidence.

The skin barrier, made up of lipids and proteins, thins and becomes less efficient over time. It retains less moisture and offers reduced protection against environmental triggers such as UV, wind, and pollutants. ✨

Structurally, collagen and elastin fibres decrease, and the skin's natural renewal cycle slows. Nerve sensitivity can also shift, making the skin more prone to irritation responses.

These changes are gradual and vary between individuals. Understanding them is the first step toward making informed decisions about skin care and support. 💕

For a personalised assessment, a consultation can help explore what is relevant for you.

The nose changes with age, and the structure behind it explains why.

As we get older, the nasal tip gradually descends.

This places tension on the connective tissue between the cartilages, which can cause them to separate over time. The result is a nose that appears longer or wider, not because bone has grown, but because the structural support beneath the skin has shifted.

Skin laxity, soft tissue thinning, and changes in underlying cartilage all contribute. These are normal anatomical processes.

Understanding facial anatomy is a useful starting point for anyone curious about how the face changes with age. 🩷

PDO Threads, explained. 🧵✨

Fine, absorbable threads inserted beneath the skin to support structure and work with your body's own collagen process. PDO (polydioxanone) is a biodegradable, biocompatible material with a long history of safe use in surgical sutures.

Over time, the threads dissolve naturally. Individual suitability varies, and a personalised consultation is the right place to start. 💜

Dr Wod Cosmetic Clinic now offers bio-regeneration, a medical skin treatment supporting the skin's extracellular matrix.

As with any injectable medical treatment, aftercare is an important part of the process. 🩺

In the first 24 hours, it is generally advised to avoid makeup, active skincare, strenuous exercise, and heat exposure. In the days following, avoid waxing, laser treatments, and pressure to the treated area.

Mild redness, swelling, or tenderness at the injection site can occur and typically resolves within a short period.

Any concerns should be directed to your treating practitioner promptly.

Aftercare is always tailored to the individual. Your practitioner will discuss this with you at consultation.

Men's health includes skin health. 🩺

This Men's Health Week, we want to start a conversation that doesn't get enough airtime. Skin is the body's largest organ. It ages, it reacts, it tells a story. And for a lot of men, it's something they've never been encouraged to think about.

Men are increasingly viewing cosmetic medicine as part of self-care and maintenance, not vanity. That shift matters. It means more men are asking questions, seeking information, and making considered decisions about their health.

Dr Wod welcomes that. 💜
At our clinic, men are seen with the same thoroughness as any patient. Skin concerns, changes over time, questions about what's available. No pressure, no assumptions. Just an honest conversation about what's going on and what, if anything, may be worth exploring.

If you've been sitting on a question, Men's Health Week is a good time to ask it.
Individual suitability varies. A consultation is the right starting point.

PRP is a medical procedure that uses components from your own blood as part of a skin treatment approach.

At Dr Wod Cosmetic Clinic in Shepparton, PRP involves concentrating platelets, which contain growth factors involved in normal tissue repair processes.

When placed into targeted areas of the skin, these factors may support collagen activity and overall skin quality.

The process -

A small blood sample is taken, similar to a standard blood test.

The sample is then processed to separate and concentrate the platelet-rich plasma.
This concentrated plasma is carefully introduced into selected areas of the skin.

PRP may be considered for areas such as the face, under-eye region, neck, and scalp.

After treatment -

Changes, where they occur, tend to develop gradually as the body’s natural tissue processes take place over time. The number and spacing of sessions depend on individual assessment.

As with any medical procedure, side effects can occur. Possible effects include redness, swelling, bruising, or temporary discomfort at the treatment site.

A consultation is required to determine whether PRP may be appropriate for your circumstances.

20+ years of cosmetic medicine experience, trained across three continents.

Shepparton became home, and this clinic grew from that.

Dr Wod Al Khateeb built this space because she believes quality cosmetic medicine shouldn't be reserved for capital cities. She brought her global training and her precision to the Goulburn Valley, and it shows. ✨

A place where you're educated, not sold to. Where questions are welcome and individual care actually means something. 💅

We're glad to be here.

We are now offering bio-regeneration, a medical skin treatment that works by supporting the skin's extracellular matrix. 🧬

The extracellular matrix (ECM) is the structural scaffolding of your skin, maintaining firmness, hydration, and overall quality.

ECM function naturally declines with age, influenced by genetics, lifestyle, and sun exposure.

Bio-regeneration supports the ECM using amino acids that occur naturally in the skin.

Rather than adding volume or altering facial structure, the focus is on supporting the skin's underlying biology.

Individual suitability, skin condition, and treatment goals are assessed at consultation.
