The Arbor Village Singers were delighted to spread some joy this Mother’s Day, performing at St Vincent’s Aged Care in Bardon for a wonderful audience.

The concert was a huge success, with plenty of singing, smiles and even a special guest joining in! It’s safe to say the performance struck a chord, with the choir already invited back for another visit (and hopefully another delicious morning tea!).

A big thank you to everyone involved – we love seeing our community coming together to create these meaningful moments 💙

The very talented residents in Arbor's Craft Club have lovingly handmade a beautiful range of Mother's Day gifts, which have been donated to the Sherwood State School for their upcoming school fete.

From knitting to crafting, every item was created with care and we are so proud to see our residents supporting the local community in such a meaningful way! 💚🧶

Lest We Forget.

On Saturday morning at 6:00am, under cloudy skies, nearly 30 residents and family members gathered on the deck at Arbor Sherwood to commemorate ANZAC Day.

This annual service is a special tradition in our village. We are honoured to hear Valerie play the piano, Delma proudly read the Ode, and Estelle & Brian's Grandson, Declan, perform The Last Post and Reveille - his fifth year joining us.

Following the service, residents came together to enjoy a well-earned breakfast. Delma also shared the significance of the poppy, and many residents wore medals honouring family members who served with great pride.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to a meaningful and reflective morning. ❤️

Oh my, how it's grown! 🌱

Almost 5 years ago, we planted this beautiful native Ivory Curl outside the Village to honour the foundation residents who first made Arbor their home. Watching it grown over the years has been just as special as the community it represents.

Staying safe together at Arbor Sherwood! 💚

Yesterday, residents came together for an informative and engaging safety session with Senior Constable Lisa Easton from the Oxley Neighbourhood Police Beat. Covering tips on how to be alert about scan messages or phone calls, to how to stay safe when using ATMs.

With a great turnout, the session sparked great conversation and provided residents with valuable, easy-to-follow advice to help them stay safe and confident in their day-to-day lives.
