I say this with SO šŸ‘šŸ¼ MUCH šŸ‘šŸ¼ LOVE šŸ‘šŸ¼ because I don’t want to see girls spend decades of their lives believing their best years are already behind them

Because the scary part about believing ā€œthis is just what happens when you get olderā€ isn’t even the belief itself

It’s what happens next

When we believe something is inevitable, we stop looking for evidence that it could be different

We lower our expectations

We stop trying to change the things that actually ARE within our control

And slowly ā€œI’m just getting olderā€ becomes a self fulfilling prophecy

You have far too much life left to already believe feeling good belongs to a younger version of you šŸ„¹šŸ™šŸ¼

ā€œBefore coaching I was experiencing constant weight gain even though I was active in sports. I was always dieting with no results and unhappy in my private life.

Since starting with MGTVY, physically I am moving easier, have less injuries, and simple daily tasks are now just part of my routine rather than a chore. Being able to just DO the things I love without it being a task.
The bigger benefit is mentally - I am a lot happier in every aspect. I was in a very dark place and to be able to turn it around in such a short time has been life changing.

The nutritional expertise the team have exceeded my expectations - being able to eat foods I love and it be totally fine and actually encouraged.

If you’re on the fence about signing up, DO IT NOW! I wish I had of done this years ago!ā€

We’re so fkn proud of you and excited to see what we can continue to achieve together šŸ„¹šŸš€

Science suggests you might be creating MORE food cravings by trying to eat ā€œhealthyā€ šŸ‘‡šŸ¼

There is a really interesting study where researchers gave two groups the exact same milkshake

One group was told it was a rich, indulgent 620 calorie milkshake

The other group was told it was a ā€œdietā€ milkshake with only 160 calories

Here’s the catch…

The milkshakes were identical

After drinking them, researchers measured ghrelin (your main hunger hormone)

The group who believed they were drinking the ā€œdietā€ shake had a much larger hunger response than the group who thought they were drinking the indulgent one

Which tells us something really important…

How you THINK about food can influence how satisfied you feel

This is why I’m not a fan of teaching women to chase the biggest bowl for the fewest calories or replace every food they enjoy with a ā€œhealthierā€ version

Because if every meal leaves you thinking…

ā€œI wish this was the real thingā€

you’re probably not building a way of eating you can stick to

Sometimes the most sustainable choice isn’t the lowest calorie one

It’s the meal that actually leaves you feeling physically AND mentally satisfied

Because staying in a calorie deficit isn’t just about managing hunger

It’s about managing the constant mental pull towards food too šŸ¤šŸ¼

ā€œPrior to coaching I was very much stuck in a rut.. I was exercising regularly but my nutrition was letting me down big time. I had suffered from Binge Eating for 15 years and used food to cope with my feelings. I always tried to stick to diets but never stayed consistent and often ended them on a binge and promising myself that I’ll start again Monday. 1 year post giving birth to my son - I had had enough of doing the same routine with no results and was looking for a change.

Coaching has helped me to learn that consistency matters so much. I also learnt that I didn’t need to heavily restrict my eating in order to loose weight. Having my coach Lauren checking in with me really regularly has enabled me to stay accountable. Previously I have used nutrition coaches but we would often only catch-up once a month which made it easy to get slack, fall off the bandwagon and think I could get away with not following the diet for a week or so. I had the mentality that I had heaps of time to make up for it in time for the next appointment. I also think weighing myself every day has helped me stay on track and committed. Knowing that someone is monitoring my tracking and my stats help keep me motivated to keep going.

I loved that I could communicate with Lauren whenever I needed to. I didn’t have to wait weeks to ask questions and I could adapt and modify what I was doing based on our conversations straight away. I also loved how supportive and non-judgemental Lauren is. The plan I got put on was achievable and realistic. I couldn’t believe how much progress I have been making so far with just being more mindful of what I was eating and staying consistent with exercise.

Honestly when I had my first call with Meg I was really worried that I would spend all this money for it to not work. I was nervous of being locked in and committed for 6 months. In reality it's been the best decision I could have done for myself. I am actually investing in myself. Being locked in for 6 months helps keep me accountable. I can't afford not try my hardest and give it a go - I am so proud of myself for what I have achieved and I'm really excited to see what I can do in the next 3 months.ā€
