Reaching out is ok

This is so sad. Unfortunately both humans and animals could be hungry right now. Are you the person that notices and then helps?

He stole it because his stomach had been empty for days.

The smell of warm donuts filled the air, drifting down to where he stood—thin, tired, and forgotten. He looked around, unsure… not because he was guilty, but because life had taught him that even hunger could get him in trouble.

For a moment, he hesitated.

Then hunger won.

He gently grabbed a donut and walked away—not running, not proud… just relieved. Each step carried a quiet apology to a world that never noticed him until he took something.

But to him, it wasn’t stealing.

It was survival.

And somewhere, beneath the noise of the busy street, a small heart whispered—

“I just wanted to eat today.” 🐾💔
