🌼 A Wonderful Week Ahead at Singleton Community Aged Care! 🌼
We have plenty of exciting activities planned for our residents this week!
👧👴 Intergenerational Visit
We’re looking forward to visiting a local playgroup and spending time with the children. These special intergenerational connections bring so much joy, laughter, and meaningful engagement for everyone involved.
⚡ Power Outage Reminder
A friendly reminder to families that there will be a scheduled power outage on Tuesday morning. Our team will continue to support residents throughout the outage and normal services will resume once power is restored.
🍽️🌷 Spring Restaurant Lunch
On Thursday, residents will enjoy a special restaurant-themed Spring Lunch, complete with a delicious fine dining experience. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the season and enjoy great food in a beautiful setting.
💛 R U OK? Day
Also, on Thursday, we’ll be wearing yellow to raise awareness for R U OK? Day. This important day reminds us all to check in with those around us, start meaningful conversations, and support one another through life’s ups and downs.

💙 Happy Father's Day! 💙

Today, we celebrate all the wonderful fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers, father figures, and special men who have touched our lives with their love, wisdom, strength, and guidance.

At Singleton Community Aged Care, we are incredibly grateful for the stories, experiences, and memories our fathers share with us every day. From cherished family traditions to life lessons passed down through generations, their influence continues to shape and inspire those around them.
We hope all our dads and father figures enjoy a day filled with laughter, love, special memories, and time spent with family and friends.

Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do. Today, we celebrate you! 💙

Today we're celebrating the dad, stepdads, grandads and father figures who have shared their wisdom, guidance, stories and, of course, their legendary jokes over the years. 🎉

To honour Father's Day, some of our residents have kindly shared their favourite dad jokes. Fair warning: they're delightfully cheesy and guaranteed to make your groan! 😄

We hope this video brings a smile to your face as we recognise and thank all the incredible father figures in our community and among our dedicated staff.

🌼 Welcoming Spring at Singleton Community Aged Care! 🌼
A new season is here, and we have a wonderful week of activities planned for our residents!
🚲 Cycling Without Age rides are back, giving residents the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful surroundings from the comfort of a trishaw.
☕ Morning tea outings by the ocean will provide the perfect chance to relax, socialise, and take in the stunning coastal views.
🎮 Get ready for some friendly competition with Wii Sports, guaranteed to bring plenty of fun, laughter, and movement.
🐾 Our much-loved Pet Therapy visits will bring smiles, comfort, and companionship to residents.
Alongside these special highlights, we’ll also be enjoying all of our regular favourite activities that keep residents active, connected, and engaged.
💙 This Sunday, we will also be celebrating Father’s Day, taking time to honour and remember all the wonderful fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who have made such a difference in our lives.
Wishing everyone a happy and meaningful week as we welcome the warmer days of spring! 🌷☀️

📚✨ Our team had so much fun celebrating Book Week by dressing up as some of our favourite book characters! From classic tales to much-loved children's stories, staff embraced the spirit of reading and brought plenty of smiles and laughter to our residents throughout the day. Book Week is a wonderful opportunity to share the joy of storytelling, spark memories, and encourage meaningful conversations. Today, we proudly celebrate another wonderful group of team members who have reached their 3-year milestone with Singleton Community Aged Care.

Over the past three years, these staff members have made a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, families, and colleagues through their compassion, commitment, and dedication.

We are incredibly grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and positive energy they bring to our home each day. Thank you for everything you do to enrich the lives of our residents and support one another as a team.

There is plenty to look forward to over the coming week at Singleton Community Aged Care!

🗳️ A Mobile Polling Booth will be onsite this Friday, providing residents with the opportunity to cast their vote in the upcoming election.

We warmly welcome families to attend and assist their loved ones with voting if required. Family members may also have the opportunity to vote onsite, if time permits, following resident voting.

We can't wait to share another wonderful month of fun, friendship, and meaningful experiences with our residents! 💙

Printed copies are available from Reception, so be sure to pick one up on your next visit. New editions will be released each month to help keep residents, families, and friends connected with life at Singleton Community Aged Care.

Census forms are available from Reception and must be returned by Friday, 21 August.
If you would prefer to complete your Census form online, please contact Reception to obtain your unique access code.
✅ When completing the form online, we do require evidence of completion. Please email the completion certificate to our Reception team once submitted.

A heartfelt thank you to all the families who have already completed the Census form on behalf of their loved ones. Your support is greatly appreciated and helps us ensure we have accurate information for residents in our care.

Today we’re taking a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to our amazing team at Singleton Community Aged Care.
To celebrate Aged Care Employee Day, staff enjoyed coffee and cupcakes as a small token of appreciation for the compassion, dedication, and kindness they bring to our residents every day. From creating meaningful moments and providing quality care, to supporting residents and families with warmth and respect, our team truly makes a difference.
We are incredibly grateful for each and every member of Team Singleton and the positive impact they have on the lives of those we support.
