As Singleton Vet Hospital we have been an integral part of our community for years and our team of skilled vets can offer more than 100 years of combined veterinary experience working with all types of animals including domestic, livestock and exotics. We have helped thousands of our clients cats & dogs, rabbits & guinea pigs, birds, horses, cattle and even a few reptiles. Being so strongly integr

ated with our local community is important to us and our clients. Our customers know by experience that they can rely on us for sound advice and treatment options and that their pet is in the very best hands with our team. Our Singleton Veterinary Hospital is a purpose built centre equipped with examination rooms, diagnostic machines, pharmaceutical stores and we have a crush facility onsite for examining larger animals. With our experienced team of vets on site days a week and knowledgeable team of support staff you can rely on us to provide on-the-spot assistance for nearly all pet health and medical needs. Our Branxton Vet Clinic is a branch of our Singleton Hospital and helps us to provide our services in a convenient location for clients further a field in areas such as Elderslie, Rothbury and Lochinvar. One of our vets are onsite at Branxton each weekday between 9 and 11am and 4 and 5.30pm for consults, with a support staff member available during the middle of the day for prescription pick-ups and over the counter products. Please note our Branxton facility is a clinic only and that any surgeries will have to be performed at our Singleton Hospital. All our Veterinary facilities provide modern, professional and affordable health care for your pets. We aim to make your pet feel at ease with a caring and gentle approach to treatment and consultations. Our dedicated staff and leading veterinarians are all passionate about pets and avid animal lovers.

Someone had discovered the ladies a little earlier than expected… 😉🐴

At just 5 months old, this cheeky little c**t had already started flirting with his paddock mate, so it was time for a very important “chat”… and a routine castration! ✂️

Dr Daniella had the pleasure of showing Dr Ash the ropes during the procedure.

Castrating c**ts at an appropriate age helps prevent unwanted pregnancies (he clearly hadn’t read the rulebook! 🤦‍♀️), reduces hormone-driven behaviours, and sets them up to become well-mannered geldings.

Safe to say this little Romeo won’t be writing any more love stories! ❤️➡️💙

Today, we say farewell to not only a respected colleague, but a true friend.

Many years ago, Brett Wild completed his vet nursing work experience with us, and from that moment on, he remained a valued part of our extended work family. His kindness, passion for animals, and unwavering dedication to their wellbeing left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

We have watched with admiration as Brett built Hunter Pet Motel into a place synonymous with exceptional care, compassion, and professionalism. His commitment to providing the highest standard of care for every animal entrusted to him created a legacy that will continue for years to come.

We are proud to continue working closely with the wonderful team at Hunter Pet Motel, supporting them as they carry forward the values and standards that Brett worked so hard to establish.

Brett, thank you for your friendship, your passion, and the difference you made in the lives of so many people and animals. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

A huge shoutout to our wonderful patients Whiskey & Huckleberry Finn, who recently donated blood and helped make a life-saving difference for other dogs in need. 🐾

Just like people, dogs can require blood transfusions in emergencies, during surgery, or when battling serious illnesses. Without generous donors like Whiskey & Finn, these treatments simply wouldn’t be possible.

We are so proud of these handsome boys for being such calm, brave, and selfless donors. They truly are a hero! 🦸‍♂️🐶

Could your dog be our next lifesaver?

We are always looking for canine blood donors to help us support pets when they need it most.

Typical blood donor requirements include:
🐾 Aged between 1–8 years
🐾 Weighs over 25kg
🐾 Friendly and comfortable being handled
🐾 Up to date with vaccinations and parasite prevention
🐾 In good general health
🐾 Not currently taking medications (unless approved by a veterinarian)

If you think your dog may be suitable, or if you know someone with a dog who might be interested in becoming a blood donor, we’d love to hear from you!

📣Exciting News - Coming to you in May

We're so excited to share that we are expanding our services for our Branxton and surrounds communities and are relocating our current Branxton clinic to our new location at 11/22 Empire Street, North Rothbury (next to Coles).

Moving our beautiful clinic to a complete hospital set up.

Our team are busy renovating and preparing the hospital with brand new equipment and we're so excited to welcome you all to our new space.

Same amazing team - continuing to provide the same trusted care, including mixed practice services and 24-hour emergency support. Just adding in the highly anticipated surgical and diagnostics facilities.

For now, business is as usual at our current locations:

Singleton Vet Hospital - 103 George Street, Singleton
