Every match is signed off by Dan and Bek, and reviewed at day 90 with you in the room.

That's SIL at Quest. 24/7 support, including overnight, in a shared home for one to three people. The tenancy stays with the participant.

A house lead owns the standards. A small consistent team keeps the faces familiar. And before anyone moves in, Dan and Bek sign off the match.

We mentor the person. The whole family feels it.

When a young person has 15 or more hours a week with a mentor they click with, things shift at home. Easier mornings out the door. Something new to talk about at dinner. A few hours where mum or dad isn't the only one holding it.

We match on personality and goals first, roster second. The same one to three mentors, every week.

Independence doesn't have to mean distance.

With the ILO-informed model, people live in their own home, on their own lease, often close to family. Support runs in blocked shifts around the household. A house manager owns how it runs.

Family stays family. Sunday dinners. Phone calls. Turning up for the footy.

When the home runs on standards, families get to go back to being family.

For years you've been the roster, the planner, the one holding it all together. That's a lot.

A Quest SIL home is your young person's own home and daily life. A small consistent team. A house lead who owns the standards and the handover. At day 90, Dan and Bek sit in on the review with you.

So Sunday lunch can just be Sunday lunch.

World Mental Health Day is this Saturday. Here are four things Quest mentors do on hard days. You can use them at home too.

Our mentors spend at least 15 hours a week with each person. That's how they learn what a hard day looks like before it arrives.

These don't replace clinical support. If someone is struggling right now, Lifeline is there 24/7 on 13 11 14.
