People with contamination OCD may fear contamination from:

Real things, like viruses, bacteria, bodily waste, or toxic chemicals.

Magical things, like names, mental images, or specific locations.

People who appear ill or unclean.

Bad luck, or objects associated with bad events.

The fears associated with contamination OCD are often disproportionate to the realistic probabilities and expectations.
