Our incredible Remedial Massage Therapist Maddie has rare appointments available this morning due to last minute cancellations!

Available appointments:

Between 10:00am to 12:00pm

Maddie is a highly experienced Remedial Massage Therapist who supports people from all walks of life in reducing stress, easing muscle tightness, and feeling more at ease in their bodies. She has additional training in Myofascial Cupping, Lymphatic Drainage, and Pregnancy and Infant Massage, with a special passion for women’s health and perinatal care. She also loves supporting athletes and those with more complex needs due to disability or frailty. Maddie values building genuine connections and creating a calm, supportive experience for every client.

Maddie is registered with all health funds and rebates are available.

A huge thank you to one of our wonderful long-time Cactus family members Paul for the beautiful gift of hibiscus tea he dropped in for us. 🫖 I mentioned as an aside how much my daughter loved her special teas, and James thoughtfully brought one in for her!

It's moments like these that remind us how lucky we are to be surrounded by such thoughtful, generous people. Your kindness truly made our day.

🎉 Happy Birthday to the one and only Dr Brian! 🎉

Today we're celebrating the man who somehow manages to be chiropractor, wellness expert, coach, community supporter, problem solver, storyteller and part-time comedian all rolled into one very tall package.

Brian genuinely loves what he does and it shows. Whether he's helping clients move better, cheering on local kids from the sidelines, supporting community causes, or taking the time to ask about your family, holidays, pets and everything in between, he truly cares about the people around him.

Many of our clients have been seeing Brian for years, and while we'd like to think it's because he's a great chiropractor, we're pretty sure it's also because they enjoy the chats, the terrible dad jokes, and the fact that he remembers things they told him three years ago. 😉

So today we're wishing a very Happy Birthday to the heart of Cactus Chiropractic Lifestyle Centre.

Today is Thank a First Responder Day.

We want to take a moment to acknowledge and thank all First Responders for the incredible work they do every day to keep our communities safe.

The work you do is physically demanding, emotionally challenging, and often carried out under immense pressure. You respond on people's very best days and their very worst days, providing care, comfort, reassurance and hope when it is needed most.

We know that the role often comes with personal sacrifices, long shifts, missed family events, interrupted sleep, and exposure to situations most of us could never imagine.

To our clients in QPS, QFS and our daughter and her work family at Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS), and every First Responder across Queensland and Australia, thank you for your dedication, compassion, professionalism and service.

We are so proud of our friend and former client Karen Adams on the release of her beautiful children’s book, Savannah and the Tooth Trolls! Our copy arrived this week and we absolutely love it. The artwork is gorgeous, the story is engaging, and it’s a wonderful way to encourage little ones to brush their teeth while sparking their imagination.

We’re excited to add it to the Cactus Chiropractic Lifestyle Centre book library, where we’re sure it will become a favourite with our younger patients. Congratulations Karen on turning your dream into reality. We can’t wait to see more children enjoying this delightful story. 🍭

A huge congratulations to the U16 girls selected for Basketball Queensland’s South state team, including two wonderful young athletes we are lucky enough to see in clinic, Leilani Lolohea and Nahla Moke. What an incredible achievement!
