Same same ➡️ just seven months apart. 🌿

You will always remember your midwife. 🫶🏻🌾
And I will always remember the families who invite me into one of the biggest moments of their lives. 🙏

Sometimes midwifery becomes more than care. It becomes the bonding of two families, from different shores and different beginnings, brought together through birth, trust and connection.

A midwife standing side by side with her woman through every decision, every turn and every moment. United. Bonded.

The babies grow. The families grow. 🌱
The faces change and the years pass, but the connection stays. Midwife is for life. 🍂

If you are pregnant 🤰 find the midwife who fits your family picture. The one who feels right beside you, because somehow, the people we choose to walk with become part of the story too. 🌾

Well here we are .........Book Week 🌿✨☀️
Honestly, I’m all for it... but the parent spiral is real 😅

🤔 Will Watson they enjoy it?
Will William wake up happy? 😕
🤞 Will Harry be sick again?
Will they get overwhelmed?
Will the costume drama tip me over the edge?

And ....... nope, they absolutely thrived 🌼
It reminded me that the goal in parenting is never perfect mornings, perfect costumes, or having it all together 🌿 It’s raising kids who feel safe, seen, supported, and free to shine in their own little moments ✨

So yes, the sleepless nights, the last minute stress, the mental load... somehow it all feels worth it in these small but really significant moments ☀️🌾

🌞 50 Rosebuds 🧡

🌿 Fifty women who trusted their bodies, found their voices and discovered just how powerful they truly are.

✨ Fifty tiny humans welcomed with courage, love, grit and a little beautiful chaos.

🧡 30 boys
🤎 20 girls

🌼 Average gestation: 38 weeks and 6 days
🌾 Average weight: 3,547 grams
🌱 Smallest: a perfect 1,990 grams
☀️ Biggest: a glorious 5,600 grams

All delicious!

🪩 Sixteen months ago, Rosebuds was just a wild little dream.

Today, it is fifty women making informed choices.

Fifty families feeling seen, heard and genuinely cared for.

Fifty journeys supported with compassion, honesty, humour and absolutely no judgement.

🌙And then there were those ten little souls, when the universe spoke loudly, and I listened, we listened, all of us listened. & you trusted me.

The moments that reminded me to pause.

To look again.

To ask one more question. To think harder.

To trust the quiet knowing that something needed attention.

Those stories stay with you.

They become the lessons, instincts and sayings woven into the next generation of women, midwives & mothers.

🌞 Every birth was different.
🧡 Every woman was powerful.
🌿 Every story left its mark.

50 births.
50 beginnings.
50 reminders that women are stronger, braver and more extraordinary than they know.

To every woman who trusted me to walk beside her, thank you.

You did the hard bit.

I was simply lucky enough to witness the magic. ✨

No one tells you that some of the hardest battles you’ll ever fight are the ones no one sees.
Parenthood.

The sleepless nights.
The constant worry.
The “what ifs” that creep in at 2 am.
The guilt that you’re not doing enough.
The exhaustion of giving every piece of yourself to help your little person find their place in this world.

You sit through appointments, school meetings, tears, meltdowns and moments where you wonder if you’re getting any of it right.

Then one day…

You look up.

And there they are.

Running hard.
Standing tall.
Finding their people.
Finding their thing.

Maybe it’s football.
Maybe it’s music.
Maybe it’s art.
Maybe it’s something else entirely.

For a moment, all those years of carrying the weight feel just a little lighter.

So to every Mumma Bear and Papa Bear still in the thick of it…

Hang tight.

Keep showing up.
Keep believing.
Keep loving them exactly as they are.

Because one day you’ll find yourself on the sideline, cheering so loudly your voice disappears, with tears in your eyes that nobody else notices.

Not because they scored the winning try.

But because they found confidence.
They found belonging.
They found joy.

And in that moment, you’ll realise you’ve been winning all along.

So when those proud moments arrive…

Stand up.
Cheer louder than anyone else.
Take the photo.
Clap until your hands hurt.

Because they deserve to hear it.

And so do you. ✌🏼✌🏼
