With the ongoing support and partnership of BreastScreen NSW, we are pleased to be hosting our annual breast screening days on beautiful Yaegl Country.

🌸 A breast screen (mammogram) is the best way to find breast cancer early.
🌸 Women in your 40s are welcome to attend.
🌸 Women aged 50-74 are invited to have a mammogram every two years.

Come join us as we hold space and share in laughter and support.

A tasty morning tea and lunch are provided for participants.

On Friday 26th of June our Bulgarr clinical staff from Grafton, Casino, and the Youth Team had the privilege of attending the 3rd Annual Aboriginal Culture & Careers Day at South Grafton High School.
Organised by the amazing Aunty Jo Randall and supported by the awesome SGHS team and deadly community service providers from all around the Clarence Valley.

Kiarra and Cait had the opportunity to engage with the students and yarn about diseases and viruses and created a game to help students understand how they spread, who they use as hosts and prevention strategies we can use to avoid them.

Eileen and Jenna our AHP’s from Casino brought along the video otoscope to show the students what the inside of their ears look like and had yarns about how we can look after our ears and keep them healthy.

Gina and Allira from our Youth Team brought along some games to start conversations and get the students thinking about sexual health and safety.

It was an amazing day with the student and all involved and we can’t wait for next year!!!
