Just, for a hot sec, stop. Take a minute. What you’re doing is not working.

You don’t need to throw everything at your health to get great results - fasting, extreme deficits, 5am HIIT, the expensive AF greens powder that does 💩. You need to stop wasting your time.

Did you know your midsection has up to 4x more cortisol receptors than anywhere else on your body?

So when you’re stressed — and then you go smash a HIIT class on top of that stress — you’re flooding the exact area you’re trying to change with the hormone that tells it to store fat.

Cooked, right? But exactly what happens when you try to condense fitness into intense 45 minute workout blocks and neglect your nutrition, sleep and stress management the other 23 hours.

What to do instead?
Weights - following a program 3 x per week

Nutrition - eating at maintenance to upregulate your metabolism and promote fat oxidation. Eat at least 1.6g protein / kg and at least 30-60g of carbs before training.

Sleep - 7-9 hours consistently with regular sleep and wake times. A good evening routine improves sleep quality for better metabolism and reduced cortisol profiles and inflammatory markers.

Low intensity movement - walking. Use this as the foundation for daily energy output, NOT hiit. A stressed body benefits from walking (it’s parasympathetic). It does not adapt well from HIIT.

What worked in your 20s isn’t going to work in your 30s and 40s, and repeating it for another decade isn’t going to change that. What you need is support that’s actually built for where your body is now — not a program you found on the internet, but guidance tailored to your life, your stress load, your hormones.

This is what my Restore program is for.

A plan to follow, clarity on exactly what works and what not to waste your time on - and direct support to get results without the bu****it fluff. You don’t have time for that.

You’re going to resort to Ubereats, a block of chocolate or a cheap muesli bar when you’re starved and haven’t planned out your meals.

You need proper food if you’re going to power through big days.

Problem is that most of us were never taught what that actually looks like in a simple meal building model.

So that’s exactly what I teach my clients.

Not only so when you come to me feeling pretty overwhelm and burnt out, the decisions have been made for you.

But also how to eat for your needs, with easy adjustments so you can make simple changes based on your life, work, kids, commitments and anything else.

Because that’s the point.
Your nutrition shouldn’t a last minute afterthought when you’re hangry and your mood is hanging on by a thread.

It’s what permits everything else in your life to feel so much more enjoyable. THAT’s what good food does.

If your emotional regulation is tied to food, weight loss diets will feel incredibly dysregulating and hard to stick to.

• If your childhood lacked stability, predictability or freedom of choice, food likely became your nervous system’s way of creating safety, often without you even realising it

• As an adult, chaos (a busy schedule, family stress, even the pandemic) reactivates that same need for security, and food becomes the fastest way to meet it

• When you restrict calories to lose weight, you’re not just cutting food. You’re cutting off the coping mechanism your nervous system has relied on for years

• That’s why diets often bring anxiety, hypervigilance and emotional dysregulation before they bring results

• Without addressing this first, most people hit a breaking point and end up back in the binge cycle for a sense of control, comfort and safety

So what can you actually do about it?

• Start naming what you’re feeling before you reach for food. Even just labelling it (stressed, overwhelmed, lonely) interrupts the automatic reach for food

• Build predictability somewhere else in your day. Your nervous system needs a few reliable anchors (same wake time, same first meal, same wind down routine, other forms of self-care and connection)

• Practice sitting with discomfort in small, safe doses before you try to overhaul your diet. Surf the urge that compels you to bike or turn to food, coach yourself through it, you will be ok.

If you are committed to wanting to lose weight and recomp your body (this is totally valid, I help so many women with this) - complete a phase at maintenance calories whilst actively working on your emotional health strategies.

Because you can’t repair your relationship with food/body image while in deficit or expecting weight loss.

This is exactly the work I do with clients in my Restore program. We restore your health (on every level) then build the body and life of your dreams.

A busy life can be the reason that your efforts to get healthy, lose weight or get stronger seem to go to waste..

Or you can finally lean into the fact that you will always be busy in some way or another - be it with work, family, personal projects or all the above 🫠

And that constantly being “a busy person” is exactly the reason WHY you need better systems around your health and then use it to your advantage.

More energy. Better focus. Better mood. Increased capacity for stress. Increased tolerance for adversity and setbacks.
Less lethargy, bloating, skin issues, headaches and sore eyes.

Imagine how much easier these peak periods of your life would be if you learned how to build healthy habits and systems into your week that gave you the energy to power through without breaking down or constantly getting sick. 🤧

This is the honest conversation I had to have with myself. I am someone who always strives to do more with my time; and this has only proved itself further with having a baby and still working with a full client base literally 2 days postpartum so we could move overseas 2 months later to build a new business.
See, busy, I get it.

So I made the choice around 8 years ago (see photo 8) to create better systems around my health, so being “too busy” was no longer the thing that got in my way, no matter what season of life I’m in.

This is exactly the skillset I implement for my clients, and teach them along the way.

If you’ve always felt stuck in your health & results because of being busy - let me help you with that 👇🏼👇🏼

If you’ve never thought that your nutrition affects how think, feel and perform everyday - let me change that for you.

Here are 4 meals you could make on repeat and I guarantee that if you eat these foods, some mindful snacks and get out for a walk everyday… you’ll be kicking yourself that you didn’t make these changes sooner.

This is how all of my clients feel when we start working together and they realise that most of the blocks they had to eating better came from lack of direction & and lack of clarity. Especially because there’s so much conflicting noise - and bu****it - on social media.

This is the number one thing I help clients with first, and then momentum builds and the rest becomes easy 👏🏼

If you’ve been sitting on the sidelines contemplating asking for help, now is the time.

I have just 2 more spots for July to help clients feel their absolute best before getting pulled into the silly season.

Remember: Food is functional. It either helps you function better or worse.

I know which one I would choose.

When the hardest part of training is not the training 😂

No matter if you’re a parent, business owner or climbing the corporate ladder - the state of your health and body will determine your capacity and success in all of these areas.

Not to deter any future mums out there - but even as a coach, I feel like I’ve had to consciously work at my training routine every single week postpartum. Constantly adapting to new baby phases, sleep challenges, and all the general physical and mental demands that come with parenthood… it hasn’t been easy.

Early on with our move overseas I gave myself more grace / leeway to let the distractions, tired days, busy-ness and overall lapses in motivation to be the reasons (excuses) not to train when i couldn’t be bothered or it seemed inconvenient with a child & busy schedule…

But it wasn’t long before I realised these are the exact reasons why i needed to train & stick to my goals.

The quality of your life literally depends on the quality & frequency of your health routines.

I solve the problems that PT’s, doctors and surface level nutritionists can’t.

For starters, because I give clients more than 15 minutes of my time upfront to solve complex, life-long problems (& every person actually gets this for free with me on our initial strategy call) 😮‍💨👌🏼

And then being an expert in the hierarchy of the what the body needs to function optimally.

I know most people want weight loss, but if your symptoms list looks like a carousel of red flags 🚩 🚩 I will help you understand exactly why past weightloss attempts haven’t worked, and, what we need to fix in your health & behaviours first before entering a calorie deficit again.

(So this time, it sticks)

This is MY point of difference in an industry that would rather take your money & funnel you into another weightloss program, knowing full well that it won’t last and your symptoms will get worse.

This scenario is crazy common for my clients.

If you can relate 👇🏼👇🏼

I could tell you how every week my clients who drop the most kg’s or eat the best meals or are 10x less stressed are the ones that do their Sunday planning…

But instead I’m going to show you how bloody SIMPLE it is and how much it works because you end up primarily governing from the pre-frontal cortex of your brain 🧠 instead of relying on convenience and quick dopamine of your limbic system..

1. Time block your work hours & be realistic with travel periods etc.

2. Be real with yourself about overtime and blurry work-life boundaries. Ensure you have a “hard cut off” each night so you don’t bleed into personal time

3. Schedule in your training sessions. Start with just 3 x per week and use your weekends if you’re time poor M-F. These are appointments with yourself you can’t miss.

4. 1 hour every morning for a good breakfast and morning movement (15 mins). Meaning no more waking up last minute before you need to RUSH out the door. Set your new wake time to accomodate this. 🚩PSA: this rush is cooking your nervous system.

5. Schedule your sleep 8 hours before your new wake time. Meaning no Netflix or scrolling at this hour. Ideally get off tech an hour before bed.

6. Re-visit your planner daily (do this over ☕️ in the morning) to ensure you’re accomodating for changes (because life happens) and stick to your plan, not your mood 💯

This is just scratching the surface for how I help my clients get amazing results and get their life back when everything felt hard & taxing.

Together we build systems that integrate into your life, which put your health on autopilot. This is how you get results that last LONG after coaching.

18/07/2026

If you’re the woman who runs on discipline and results in every other area of your life but treats your own body like the last item on the to-do list… read this twice.

Every client I’ve worked with who battled 3pm crashes, bloating, cravings, binge eating, stubborn fat, hormone or skin issues, and anxious, snappy moods was also chronically under-slept.

Just two nights of short sleep is enough to drop the hormone (leptin) that tells your brain you’re full by around 18%, while the hormone (grehlin) that screams “feed me” climbs by roughly 28%.

Push sleep restriction further and inflammatory markers start climbing too, the same ones linked to skin flare-ups, crap recovery and that low-grade “off” feeling 🫠

So an anti-inflammatory, energising morning routine actually starts the night before, with your sleep. It will do more for your energy, skin, mood and midsection than any supplement, ice bath (which actually jacks up your stress) or red-light panel ever will.

👇🏼 Then there’s the hour before you walk out the door 👇🏼

This is where most high-achieving women lose the day before it’s even started. Straight into back-to-backs running on caffeine and adrenaline, and by 3pm the crash hits and the cravings win. (I used to do this 🙃🙃)

Instead:

- A solid breakfast with protein & fats blunts the blood sugar and insulin spike from that meal *and* the next one — which is exactly why it’s your best defence against the 3pm wall.

- Get outside. Real light in your eyes within the first hour of waking switches on the cortisol response that’s supposed to drive your energy (without the anxiety) that carries you through the day. PSA: cortisol is actually a great hormone that no-one understands properly.

- Microplan your day w breaks

- Enjoy your coffee, but it’s not breakfast. Eat.

None of this is complicated but the wellness industry makes it out to be.

If you’ve built a career on discipline, you already have exactly what it takes to do this. You’ve just been pointing your focus at the wrong things.
