Some conversations are hard to have. But they're the ones that matter most.
Our podcast, Life and Death, Today and Tomorrow, explores the topics most people avoid. From voluntary assisted dying, to the story of a young woman who became a widow and a mum at the same time, to death by su***de.
What makes these episodes so special is the feedback we've received from people telling us what a difference hearing these stories has made in their lives.
And to every guest who has shared their story with us, thank you for your bravery.

Q: How quickly do you have to hold a memorial service?
It's a question we're asked all the time at Tomorrow Funerals.
The simple answer is there's no hurry and there are no rules. That's one of the real advantages of a memorial service over a traditional funeral.
We've had families wait a full year, choosing to hold the celebration of life on the anniversary of the death. That kind of time allows guests to travel from overseas, gives everyone space to move through the initial shock, and means you can plan something truly beautiful without any pressure.

More people are thinking about the environmental impact of a funeral, and we think that's a really good thing.
At Tomorrow Funerals we use Daisy Box coffins, made from recycled cardboard. No plastic, no harsh chemicals. Just a genuinely sustainable option that's better for the planet.
It's one small way to make a farewell a little more thoughtful.

Grief is one of the most shocking parts of life, even when a loss isn't unexpected.Grief is one of the most shocking parts of life, even when a loss isn't unexpected.
Everyone experiences it differently. It doesn't follow a pattern. It can affect your sleep, your appetite, your mental state, even your physical health.
If you're going through it right now, take things slowly. Lean on the people around you. Rest as much as you can. And if you're really struggling, please reach out to a professional or call one of the numbers below.
You don't have to navigate this alone.

St Andrews pub, just outside Melbourne was the perfect spot to farewell our bush-loving, warm-hearted, beer aficionado friend today.

There was a roaring fire, several ‘sherbets’ raised & many tales told. Personal, warm & real which is why it felt so right.

Go well Lee ♥️

Q: Should I wear black to a funeral?Q: Should I wear black to a funeral?
It's a question we're asked often at Tomorrow Funerals.
There's an assumption that colour is always the right choice at a celebration of life, and that can be a beautiful thing, especially if the family has requested it. But black can be just as meaningful. It's traditional, it's powerful, and it's required in many cultures.
The honest answer? Just ask the family. Whatever they feel comfortable with is the right answer.

A memorial style funeral gives you something that's often overlooked: time.
At Tomorrow Funerals, we arrange the cremation first and the memorial event afterwards. That means time to plan something meaningful. Time for family to travel from overseas. Time for the weather to cooperate if you're dreaming of a day by the beach.
And most importantly, time to move through the initial shock and grief so that when you're ready, we can help you create something truly special.
